I think she really does on the cover more than in the game.

Either way, she's damned sexy.
Mmm goth Lara costumes.
I really hate the lack of enemies in this game. I mean, it's all just men, who all look the same anyway, then then you have the occasional snow lepoard or tiger, lame, and then you have dogs, which are the same as tigers anyway really. Big whoop.
There's tons of areas where a croc or scorpion or bird or something could have been put in there. Why not!?
I was really looking forward to fighting a T-Rex too. Ya did in the first bunch of games, and it would have looked awesome in Legends. Where are my raptors damnit!!?

I agree about the enemies. There simply weren't enough areas in the game that had them, let alone a bigger variety. I was surprised they didn't have more animals as enemies. there were like 4 or 5 tigers and 2 dogs in the entire game...that's it. i was still happy with it, though. The main focus of the game is about the raiding of the tombs, the puzzle solving, and the platforming, which was done really well.

I think Peru is my favourite Level, simply for the awesome gunfight at the beginning followed by the Biking through the Desert, that's just too cool. I'm gonna play that tonight i think.
Followed closely by Japan... actually come to think of it all the levels are pretty superb. I was playing Authurs Tomb while reaaaaally stoned for the first time, and really got into it, listening to all the bits of Legend about Authur and figuring out where to go with the forklift. hahah it was really funny actually how i found out to go through the wall. But anyway, that's neither here nor there.

There's 4 dogs in total in the game, two in Japan and two in England. I think that's all of them. Very lame either way. I liked the boss fights though, while very simple they were quite fun, and i had a really hard time with the Sea Serpent on hard mode.

That boss is called The Leviathin in the game. I thought it was pretty easy. It only took me 3 tries to kill it. I knew instantly what to do since I was playing around with the mechanisms beforehand, though. The only reason I died was because the grapple doesn't always lock on to what you're aiming at. I thought there should have been a second part of that fight; it was too short.

Yeah i had that problem as well, highly annoying. I was standing at the edge of the bridge directly facing the lever on the left, and she's always hook onto the right lever when i tried to hook. Freaking annoying.
When you get all the rewards in that level Shake you can unlock the model for the creature, and in the Extra's section it's called 'Sea Serpent.'

Hmm....Oh well, doesn't really matter.
I had multiple problems with the grappling in the game. Sometimes it just wouldn't work at all. One thing I did like was swinging from it (or a rope) and the fact that the camera swings along with her. It actually made me dizzy watching it.

I agree, it was abit of a nusiance at times, but pretty good when it worked well.
I disliked the ease of using it at some points too, for example, whenever there was something you could grapple to and swing from, a massive X appeared on the screen, so you wouldn't even have to look really. Then all you needed to do was just and push X, or square. They should have left little bits like that out.
The QTE were fun, but also easy to silliness. That was generally because the button you needed to press was always the button used in-game too, such as square for grapple or x for jump or triange to shoot a non-combatant object. While it makes sense, there was far too much hint given at what button was going to come, such as Lara readying her weapon and then a close up of the object obviously intended to be shot.
Basically, this Tomb Raider was completely idiot-proof, i didn't have to engage my brain at all and when i did, it actually took me much longer to figure stuff out because i was overlooking the simplicity of the puzzles!

Yeah, completely. Most of it was waaaay too easy. I thought some of the puzzles were kinda hard, though. Mostly because I couldn't figure something out, and then when I did, it turned out to be really obvious and it made me feel stupid.

I hope the next game at least has an option to turn hints like that off. I want the game to be really difficult; not like DMC3 difficult, but at least hard enough that I won't be able to complete it in 7 or 8 hours.

I completed it in about 4 hours, tops.

Now i've done time trial on all of them and could easily complete the whole game in an hour and a half, tops.
Oddly, the same amount of time it takes to complete Resident Evil, but this still feels much shorter.

Ya know, the more we talk about this game, the worse we make it out to be.

It's still a damn good game, despite it's lack of difficulty and short length.

hahah, well, i am dissapointed and i will not hide that fact. I doubt if i'll even play it ever again. maybe in a few months once it becomes forgotten to me. But yes, you're right it is very enjoyable and fun. I love the little things like the bullet time and vehicles.
But, just like AoD, it feels rushed, unfinished, and made to look pretty before actually having any complete substance. I was rather hoping Eidos learned the better of this from AoD, but obviously not. There's so so so much extra that they could have put in there, tiny things that would have made the game far better, but they didn't. *shrugs*

Well, I'm going to assume they were rushed to get the game out because of how utterly terrible and unsuccessful AoD was. The story probably could have been about twice as long. I'll admit that I as dissapointed now, too. But I'd be lying if I said this game was even remotely as bad as AoD was.

Naturally. There's not a soul alive who enjoyed playing through that game. It felt like the buttons on my controller were covered in thumbtacks and i was stabbing myself constantly while playing.
