Thank you Raziel, although you'll find there are a great deal of intelligent, knowledgeable people who frequent this forum and whose expertise covers a wide range of subjects besides the paranormal. You'll benefit a great deal from the information you gather here. I still learn new things from time to time, you can never know too much.

I, too, became enamored with and fascinated by anything to do with the paranormal at roughly the same age as you, but didn't have the internet as a source to satiate my curiosity or my sense of wonder. Just be mindful of the fact that you have to be cautious of some of the things you find and read on the 'net, as there is just as much garbage being promoted as credible, reliable information.

Don't concern yourself with how you are received here, if your first few posts are any indication, you come across as a very considerate and well spoken young man, which is quite refreshing to tell you the truth. So welcome, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Yeah, don't worry about it. I stated buying books on astrology, ghosts (275 and rising) and the paranormal before I was ten. (To be quite honest, I notice I am almost an exact contemporary of Ladyspiritguide). The ear bashing I got from my family was unbelievable, but it never put me off. I wouldn't have assumed you were that young from the way you write either.

Don't worry Raziel, I havn't been here for very long but as I see here, the acceptance is not based on physical age, but mental age. (I bet no one knows I'm only fourteen), hehehe. Welcome.

I don't see any problem with them. The avatars are aesthetically pleasing, non-explicit and, if you were to spend a little time familiarizing yourself with the ladies who display them, you would find that the images are in fact a wonderous representation of their spirits and personalities. Of course it takes a bit of maturity to have that insight, more's the pity if you missed that.
