Why is it "el chupacabra" and not "la chupacabra"? I only took Spanish for a year, it could be obvious, I'd never know.

We had a brief visit from an astutue fellow from the local chupacubra regions who offered some very good Chupacubra suspects. From the descriptions, one might be convinced this is what sparked the legend.

Personally my favourite candidate is the Coati however, as some have said, it may be more than one animal - hence the confusion. Once again, ranchero offered the following two suspects that quite fit the bill, The Giant Weasel (Eira_barbara) and another high ranking candidate IMHO The Jaguarundi.

What do you lot reckon? I'm convinced this is a strong possibility and probably the best place to start if one was to begin an investigation. All three are viscious predators and have been known to lap blood.

Alot of reports talk about every single drop of blod being drained but people don't have the tech to do this.

I think if all of the corpses were that extraordinary there would have been more enquiery into them. This more than others is a fact against the chupa
