I think the same of most cryptids. If it's seen by more than one or two people, who dont know each other and have little to gain, and they tell something almost identicle, it's worth looking into.
once is strange.
twice is coincidence
three times is enemy action.
Chupa holds a special place in my heart, though. ^.^

I get how look:
Ingredients for Blood
Plasma
Water and Protein
Hemoglobin
Hard dry platelets
Im not that good either but as you can see blood consists of Plasma and plasma contains Protein, and ALL meat contains protein, and thats how carnivours survive. So blood is nutritionus enough to support life. With, of of course, an adapted digestive system

My idea must be plausible because: 99% of blood is plasma and 50% of plasma is protein. So water and protein are the only thing you need to live. Strengh and Support.

I could be wrong, but i dont think El Chupa eats just one chicken per killing. i think there are multiple deaths per killing, plus the story about where it got the llama or whatever it was (was on Animal X). Also, mosquitos and bats dont kill when they feed. You dont even notice mosquitos, really, and i hear bats are one of the creatures you could rabies from least.
It's possible, but apparently most who wake up with bloody toes sticking from under the covers are no worse for the wear once the cuts heal up.

I have always been facinated by the chubacapra. I saw a documentary on it on animalX, and was hooked! I found these pics at
http://www.elchupacabra.com/. Its a very wierd site but has some good pictures.
Apparently the first picture has been debunked as a hoax, (its cool anyway though

) but i dont know about the second one.

The above photo (claimed to be a creature in a rock crevice) is a photo of a carving in Cheddar Showcaves & Gorge in Somerset, England. It turns out that the "djinn" is part of Cheddar Showcaves, a tourist attraction which contains an attraction called "Crystal Quest." Crystal Quest is a dark cave full of Tolkeinesque carvings, intermittently lit by strobe. Cheddar Gorge officials confirmed this and noted that many people had taken pictures of strange things in the cave, after seeing a flash of light and pointing their camera at it. Socrates, please be sure to search for topics before posting, more often than not there already is a topic about it. I've merged your topic with the current chupacabra topic.
And also, don't post the same thing all over the board. Once is enough.

I was doing a little research on this pic and found out that it was proven fake many times! It was also proven to be fake on Coast 2 Coast AM website. So if it was proven there then it's 100% fake. It was done in photoshop or something like that.

weasels feed on the blood of chickens and kill them in the process....i would say the culprete would most likely be a larger undiscovered branch of the weasel family....its descriptions are too unnatural to be precise...

That would mean El Chupa exists, but is not a supernatural critter.
I'd never heard that about weasles.

i live in the country and we raise chickens on occasion in my backyard, you always have to watch out for em, my dad had a whole coup of guinee hens killed by a weasel, the leave a gash/hole thing in the neck and the animal is completely drained of blood...

yes
Lord_Kazius
May 15 2005, 07:24 PM
what i found so far (that i already knew) is that they dont eat the chicken they kill them by ripping their throat open and drink the blood, so i guess it could be messy...

Weasels need to eat an amount equal to only a quarter to a third of their body weight daily. That means a mouse or two a day will do. Still, when confronted with a particularly happy hunting ground, the little terrors often will continue killing until everything in sight is dead. Studies indicate that movement triggers such massacres. As long as there's a wriggle, jiggle, or squirm in an enclosed kill area, the weasel will press its attack, often wiping out an entire colony of mice—numbering in the hundreds—or a coop full of chickens in a few furious moments.
Lord_Kazius
May 15 2005, 07:31 PM
If you suspect a weasel of raiding your hen house, search out and plug even the tiniest coop entrances—such as knotholes and cracks. If that doesn't work, you'll have to resort to trapping the raider—live or otherwise (as dictated by your conscience or lust for revenge, whichever is the stronger).
Unlike the least and short-tailed species, the long-tail is a notorious chicken killer (it's quite possible that Audubon's "Ermine" was in fact a white-phase long-tail). But even the chicken-stealing long-tail benefits the farmer in the long run, since it destroys rats that would otherwise prey on eggs and newborn chicks, and limits the number of crop-damaging mice.

I have been reading about the now infamous Chupacabra, in South America apparently according to the locals this creature has been seen entering and leaving the old mine workings there, whether this is a true story or something that has been made up i'm not sure.
Apparently this story goes back well over a decade about this elusive creature of South America where locals have witnessed animal mutlilations where blood have been drained completely from the animals and not a drop spotted around the area of the corpses.
It's not just places in South America that this creature has been seen, the Island of Puerto Rico have seen it's fair share of sightings it as also been spotted in Mexico.
In 1996 the southern parts of the United States would have their share of sightings but sceptics would brush it aside as (Feral dogs, wild cats, and Satanists).
But it's the true eyewitness accounts of these sightings that needs closer scrutiny, as i am sure there will be a lot more sightings and mutilations until this creature is captured. With sightings in these different locations makes me wonder if there is more than one.

I'm not exactly the smartest person when it comes to knowing about health or stuff like that. I know I am struggling in Biology class it's so hard with my damn teacher. Anyways we are currently going over health diet and so on, anyways I was wondering how can a Chupacabra survive???
Especailly when it's died is simply blood how could it get all the things it needs for it's body? The only thing I can think of is if it can survive of blood then it's not from this world....

depending what type of animal it is, it might only need certain things to survive. through time evolution changes all that. Termites eat wood, hummingbirds and butterflies eat nector, manitee eats grass at the bottom of lake, stream, river, cows eat grass. many cows in india are worshipped and are allowed to reside in city streets. some people let them eat their produce at the market, but because of a cow's "ruben" can can literally live off of cardboard with their complex 4 chambered stomachs, processing what ever they eat, break it down and moves on.
i might be a little off... but i've read up and seen show on this stuff.
