I'm not exactly the smartest person when it comes to knowing about health or stuff like that. I know I am struggling in Biology class it's so hard with my damn teacher. Anyways we are currently going over health diet and so on, anyways I was wondering how can a Chupacabra survive???
Especailly when it's died is simply blood how could it get all the things it needs for it's body? The only thing I can think of is if it can survive of blood then it's not from this world....

Almost 99% of the stories I heard said the animals body was drained of only blood.....still how could it survive?
dragonlady_mothman
May 8 2005, 09:34 PM
how does an herbivore survive only on plants? A carnivore on meat? An insectivore on insects?
It's adapted some kinda way to drink blood and organs.

look at the nutrients in blood- there's plenty of them for a creature to solely survive on the stuff. AAMOF, blood is the most nutritious drink out there.

How do ticks, vampire bats, and mosquitoes survive?
dragonlady_mothman
May 8 2005, 10:50 PM
i'm not an insect expert, mind you, so there could be a species that does survive off blood, but to my knowledge, only pregnant female mosquitos drink blood, to help feed her eggs because blood is so nutritious.

Yeah man, it is possible for it to have an adapted digestive system.

Why not vampire bats are warm blooded mammals that survive completely on blood. Some species in Africa and India can actually grow to be pretty large but still thrive on blood. I have to wonder if the chubacapra myths aren't just vampire bat feedings embeleshed after a few dozen telllings and brought up from the southern parts of Mexico and other areas where these bats are common.

the chupucabra appears in texas and puerto rico not mexico.
people in vampire bat areas know what they are as they can blight their cattle and so are normally killed on sight.
Its a primitive native superstition that caught media attention because some people claimed there was a u.f.o. connection
Before you prove an extra terrestrial connection you first have to prove thatthe animal exists
so far the jury's still out and considering that attacks by this creature don't occur in the amazon jungle or the himalayas its a nice story to sell to the papers on the occaison of a fox getting into your chicken coop.
A non avian that flies and has glowing red eyes and spits fire ?
I don't know how many rules of nature its existence would break
all of them probably
so far its just responsible for breaking common sense in individuals

possibly
maybe
kinda
if
etc
etc
Q. How much is a chicken worth
A. one chicken
Q. How much is a chicken that been mauled by a fox worth
A. one meal
Q. How much is a chicken that been killed by the demonic chupucabra which flew from the sky breathing fire and flashing its bright red eyes around the farmyard worth to the local media ?
A. Lots
See if any animal from a chupucabra had ever made it as far as a lab the mystery would be solved because its possible to type a saliva sample left in the wounds
I'm still waiting

exactly, you have made my point for me...people have CLAIMED to see it, claims arent evidence!
FLY SPITTA
May 11 2005, 04:38 PM
Yeah, but so many people have
claimed I believe that at least one of those sightings must be real. Don't you? Unless every sighting is to just attract attention or something like that. I suppose that is possible too.
Lord_Kazius
May 11 2005, 04:43 PM
they saw something be it a dog/cat/bat/horse/you/me/weird al, but it wasnt a chupa, they just embellished their story to make it sound more interesting and once the originals were out people actually think they are seeing a chupa instead of what it actualy is.....
FLY SPITTA
May 11 2005, 04:50 PM
Yeah, but they are not going to get a Chupa confused with a bat or a dog you know what I mean.... I'm saying only reason why I think people fake seeing it is they want some kind of fame. Otherwise I say if someone is positive they saw it then most likely they seen something like it.
By the way anyone know of a site that has good facts about the Chupacabra? Can you post it or PM it to me thanks.
Lord_Kazius
May 11 2005, 04:58 PM
i am a strong believer that the chupa is a hoax...if you are told what something is supposed to look like then you see it too....too many claims arent backed up with good evidence and it is only a new phenomena, i ask you were was the chupa in the past, why did he only surface recently?
FLY SPITTA
May 11 2005, 05:17 PM
Well I heard about the Chupa long long ago! I was in the 4th or 5th grade when I first heard about it. So I think the Chupacabra been told about for a long time. I don't know how you are saying it only appeared recently??? Because I have been knowin about it!

lord kazius meant history wise, eg more than 100 years ago

why has it only just surfaced recently?

I get how look:
Ingredients for Blood
Plasma
Water and Protein
Hemoglobin
Hard dry platelets
Im not that good either but as you can see blood consists of Plasma and plasma contains Protein, and ALL meat contains protein, and thats how carnivours survive. So blood is nutritionus enough to support life. With, of of course, an adapted digestive system

I doubt small towns across Latin America woke up one morning and said, "Lets think of a hobgoblin to confuse those silly Americans!"
Some sightings could be misidentification...but i doubt all of them are, especially if there is footprints and carcasses left behind. Dogs dont kill like that.
