Well...
About the same time NASA photographed the Face did a spectacle about a "city" in a nearby area appear in the discussions. The city had pyramids, strange unnatural angles, trigonometrical patterns, and so on.

Now, the question I pose is; is it real or something we simply wish to see?

I draw a parallel to ghost photos where people claim to see "faces", "human forms", "eyes"...

I personally believe that our mind creates patterns for us. Our brain [desperately] makes pictures (of what we recognize) for us in our daily life; treebranches, walls, water, etc. How many times haven´t we said "look at that, it looks like an elephant", or whatever?

It's our mind, I think it works that way.
So, once again, is Cydonia something real, or just a coincidence or an illusion at best?

Nothing more than wishful thinking. The pyramid shapes share all the properties of mountains and none of pyramids, with the exception of being pointy. The face has been photographed, re-photographed, and even laser-mapped, and it is nothing more than a nonedescript hill.

I agree completely. You don´t know how many theories, legends, pictures and videos I discuss here show up as hoaxes on U-M.com. Many....
