My friend called me around 8 or 9 one night last June. I went out on our deck because it was a nice night. While I was talking to him this object (I took to be an airplane) came from my left and slowly traveled overhead. I noticed it was kind of low but didn't really pay attention to it because at this point I still thought it was an airplane. There was another plane traveling much higher at the time making the usual airplane noise so it didn't occur to me that the object I saw wasn't making any noise (our house is in a direct path of the airport). Soon the plane making the noise was gone and it was silent. The object continued traveling rather slowly and it went far to my right maybe 1/2 an acre away or so and it just slowly dimmed from the outside in and was black then all of a sudden it lit back up as bright as ever. It then continued back to the left. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore it just seemed to be meandering about. It was kind of small - and it was flying quite low - I've seen what I thought to be a UFO before and this was notihing like it! Any suggestions or comments?
I will just throw this one in for good measure.....when I was in High School I worked at the Dairy Queen. Often I wouldn't be getting home until 1030 or 1100. I saw an object earlier that week that was flying - it looked odd but I didn't get a real good look at it because of the tree branches but I could tell it wasn't an airplane. Anyway later that week I was driving home around 1030 or 1100 I could see this object hovering to the left of this house just over top of the road- it was pretty low and had some real bright lights on it. I stopped my car and put it in park - I didn't get out because I was too scared. I suppose whoever or wahtever it was saw me - the SLOWLY started moving away - I took off! I saw a lot of activity that summer - I think it was probably military not necessarily UFO related but it was pretty odd......when I told my dad he thought I was high - thanks for the vote of confidence dad
