user posted image rFor as long as there have been cameras, folks have captured on film what they say might be from another world. Or, they say the UFOs might be a secret aircraft the government doesn't want us to know about.Despite the true answer, the fascination with the strange objects in the sky is stronger than ever, mainly because of the internet. B.J. Booth says it's just a great mystery. What is this in the East Texas sky?"We know there are many objects that are seen, photographed, and videotaped by reputable individuals." Booth speaks for a man in Kaufman County -- a man named Larry who doesn't want the spotlight. He just took these pictures, and video. "To be honest, I don't even know his name. Just Larry," Booth says.Over the past few years, Booth says his video shows objects that defy explanation. Like a strange white object moving toward a low flying plane."He was picking up some objects in his camera that he wasn't really seeing or didn't notice when he was taking his film." Some of the video and pictures are just of strange lights in the night sky -- moving quickly. But some of the pictures Larry has sent to Booth's website, www.ufocasebook.com are jaw-dropping. "We haven't been able to supply a lot of answers, and no one has because these objects have not been able to be identified," Booth says.

Take for instance a bronze colored shape. It doesn't look to be a plane. Neither does a spectacular beacon of light moving within the clouds in the daytime. "They cannot be explained by anything that we know of, or anything that's flying today in our skies," Booth proclaims. He says he's never seen a UFO himself, but believes the photos and video from Kaufman County are authentic. There was something up there. And he wants an answer from someone. "There are so many of them that there aren't really the resources or personnel to actually go out and further investigate these things," he says.

Something up there indeed but another life form, highly unlikely. That almost looks like a chochlate-chip.

Ignorance is bliss.

Let us ignore the facts and deny the truth.

I mean, we are gods image right? we have been created by god. We are supperior to all and we are alone in this universe, what is a billion times a trillion times a quadrillion? its how many stars exist in our percievable view, there is no intelligent life out there. Over the billions of years before us, there has been no chance for life to evolve anywhere in the universe, we are the only intelligent life to ever exist and the idea of other intelligent life is sacreligious.

GIVE ME A BREAK!!
grow up, grab a brain, stop living in a world of fear, whats the use in denying something you have no reason to deny?

Before you go on another "let's bash Christianity and world religions in general"- binge, you might want to stop reading into what people say in your efforts to find people to humiliate. Just what facts is he ignoring? He didn't say anything about it being highly unlikely that there is life in this universe outside of our own. He didn't express a religious opinion that draws him to any conclusions for which you attack him on. He simply said that it is highly unlikely that the "UFO" in that particular video is from another lifeform.

Seeing as the video is blurry with little to no visible detail and consequently does not show E.T. himself walking out of it saying "take me to your leader", the facts he is relying on tend to back him up. While those Texas videos are interesting, they are far from being hard evidence of anything. I also find it suspect that these were all taken by one man, approximately once a month. Any credible person who was experiencing so many "legitimate" sitings I would think would invest in better video and photographic equipment.

Reading your rant, it almost comes across that because you believe it to be scientifically likely for there to be other life in the universe that it is likely this Texas dude took video of a real alien spacecraft. Regardless of the issue of extraterrestrial life, this video does little to back it up and believing so is just plain gullible.

Pretty good footage the only question now is is there an official explanation. Has anyone in the government commented on them?

i think it's NASA's experimental scram jet.

no.gif The last I read the Full sized Scram Jet Engine was just testing in February at JPL and has not been fitted to a test ship yet. A missile may go up in August for testing of near space entry. Story at Air Force Research labs site.

Stealth fighter. Other military aircraft. Unidentified means just that...we cannot identify it as a known aircraft...but that doesn't mean it isn't a known aircraft, now does it?

Reading your rant it looks like you think that the possibility of life else where is zero percent.

If you take all the grains of sand on all of the fresh and salt water beachs, all of the deserts of this dust ball we call earth....There are a billion or more stars for every grain of sand. It is sad to think that we are the only life form anywhere.

For one who tells me to grab a brain, and dare calls oneself "supperior" well my friend, that is quite funny.

Anyway, I believe in other life forms, but not some alien ridden planet with top secret weapons, but more simple LIVING organisims.

If you look at my post again, you'll find that I cited far more than you state I did to come to a reasonable conclusion that this individual has a contempt for religions in general. Perhaps you didn't understand that the first part of this guy's post is an attempt at sarcasm where he espouses what he believes to be the mindset of a typical religious person. You know, "ignorance is bliss, ignore facts, deny truth, created in God's image, alone in the universe, to think otherwise is sacrilege." What followed was his true opinion that such people are immature, brain dead, living in a world of fear and in denial of reason.

The guy read a lot into a simple statement that one particular (not all) UFO picture did not look like it was from another lifeform. To go on such a tirade represents that he has a predisposition towards religion bashing binges.

Hmmm... Perhaps you might have a predisposition towards religion bashing binges. You think? Uh, let's see. What are those quotes in your signature?

QUOTE
"Science has done more for the development of Western civilization in one hundred years than Christianity did in eighteen hundred years".
Jeff Burroughs

"No actual tyrant known to history has ever been guilty of one-hundredth of the crimes, massacres, and other atrocities attributed to the Deity in the Bible."
Steve Allen

"Religion is the last refuge of human savagery."
Alfred North Whitehead

"If the Bible proves that God exists then comic books prove the existence of Superman."

I'm actually more agnostic than I am atheistic and I also believe it to be possible and likely that there is other intelligent life in the universe, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to also question the legitimacy of a video or picture of a supposed UFO. I would like to think that Carl Sagan would be doing the same thing today were he still around.

What annoys me is people with such a hatred towards religion that they jump at any opportunity to hack away at it. It would appear that some have dedicated their life to it much like a monk would do for his deity. Most atheists or agnostics have learned to ignore or tolerate that there are religious minded people in the world. People like you or Stix, however, seem to be soooo obsessed with berating religion that it reminds me of that quote from Hamlet that you "doth protest too much". Maybe something (or someone?) is whispering in your mind and you're trying so hard to run away from it that you, uh, overcompensate?

What annoys me is when Christians think that it is the only religion and that it is perfect.

We are way off topic!

PS. It does seem a little strange that he is consistently making "Videos" of a UFO.

I am in no way supperior, and I appologize for anything which might imply as much.

as for the rest of the people who assume I bash religion; I feel the need to clarify my position.
The way I see it is this: If you think that its possible for life to exist in the universe aywhere other than on this planet, then the same possibility exists for life to have already existed a million years before life ever existed on this planet, or a billion, or a trillion. The chances are, compared to the fact that life probably exists on mars, or has in the past, that life does exist and it is intelligent because the universe is so vast. So for you to say that it is highly unlikely that it is not an extra terrestrial craft is just as ignorant as me saying god does not exist, or that god does exist for that matter. (just for example)
thus why I said "grab a brain" because its actually pretty likely, given all the unexplained proofs we have like abductees, implants, videos of UFOs, eyewitness reports, crop circles, and so on that aliens do exist and they are here today.

The most unlikely thing I find about the Alien phenomenon is that all these accounts, videos, retrieved implants and crop circles are fake... That seems very unlikely in my oppinion. And I might add that I have investigated this with some scrutiny.

Hi all,

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I just now found it and had to comment. original.gif

Larry is a friend of mine and the number of things he photographs and films in the sky is absolutely amazing. Discs, triangles, orbs—all sorts of shapes and colors. Run a google search for "Lawwalk" and "UFO" and you'll find enough stuff to keep you busy for hours.

My point being, I don't think this is NASA's scram jet. tongue.gif
