What exacly is the nature of demons and fallen angels, ( I don't beleive they are the same )and how does one aquire the power to cast them out?

Interesting question the nature of the things are basically pure evil and in my opinion the best way to cast them out is a good old fashioned exorcism but if that doesnt work then youre screwed cause thatll be one p.o.ed demon

To cast out demons you must have the holy spirit residing in you that is the whole story. Here are some scriptures about deliverence from demons.
Jesus said to cast OUT demons (Mark 16:17).

Mark 1:39 - And He (Jesus) preached in their synagogues (churches) throughout ALL Galilee and CAST OUT DEMONS. (IF My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face AND turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. II Chronicles 7:14

Jesus said, "Those that Believe SHALL cast out demons" (Mark 16:17).
Acts 5:32 - And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost who God hath given to them THAT OBEY HIM.
Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 - Teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have COMMANDED you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Jesus commanded ALL Believers to cast out demons.

If you have no faith(not if you have no religion there is a difference) and a demon comes after you... Well the technical term would probably be unrepeatable on a public chat board so lets just say you'd have a serious problem and no real solution(despite popular myth btw the people most often attacked are people with little to no religious faith or training deeply spiritual families are the ones LEAST likely to have demonic problems).

As to what a demon or for that matter a devil is. They are an order of inhuman spirits(meaning beings that were never human nor(at least in most theories) ever inhabited the earth in any physical form). There origins are a question theologians of a dozen religions have debated for thousands of years. The main Judeo-Christian theory(and there are other christian theories and other jewish ones) is that demons are the angels that fell when Satan was cast out of Heaven(see Rev 12).

As to dealing with them its a matter of faith. People who have strong religious faith can combat the demonic (and truth be told most religions have a rite of exorcism even if they don't admit to it) with that faith. This does of course mean that an agnostic or atheist will need to find some kind of faith if they want a way out.

I have NO faith, reglion or anything else based on fairy stories and imagination, how come I have NEVER been attacked. Wouldn't I and millions of athiests like me be attacked all the time, yet we aren't'
It appears, contrary to your claim that the only ones attacked are people with reglious beliefs of one kind or another or they are told they are being attacked/possessed by people like the Warrens without anything of substance to validate what they say.




So how come if these things are real, that after thousands of years of debate, we still have no clue as to where they come from or what they are??
How come in fact, that after all this time we still have little or NO proof that they even exist at all?





Actually, dealing with them is easy, if you start doing weird things or hearing voices, go to your shrink, you CAN be cured.

well to cast out an angel..you have to be god. kinda obvious

If it was that simple yes. You as an atheist do not have the ability to protect yourself directly but then again you probably don't engage in the behaviors that draw that kind of attention in the first place. Despite what most fundamentalist screw balls think demons do not run around the world attacking people at random.

For unclean spirits and demons I recommend a mixture of Tide and Scrubbing Bubbles with just a hint of Rubbing Alchohol and perhaps a little Mint Leaf.

For really unclean spirits try using Clorox with a small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide.
