To many crappy breeders breeding ill tempered dogs with unstable and un predictable temperments has lead to their demise. VEry sad because they can really do some amazing things!

I have had a german shepard..they think they are people sometimes. They have great personalities. My best friends owns a beautiful one German Shepard named Sasha and she knows that she pretty. They grow so fast.
My dog came from a good friend of mine that raises world class underground fighting dogs. That assures me that I have a dog of much "gameness" and so I train him to know his true limits yet makes sure that he obeys by showing him love. Face is from the litter, and so is his brother "Hercules"..A full Brindle, no white. Hercules is much taller and skinnier and is Terrified of Face.
WOW...I know exactly how you feel. For that reason is why I listed the Bloodline... we bread the ideal dog for me, from size to aggression and temprament to how intelligent some of the dogs are.. Face is highly aggresive on command, and I can get him to stop on command. If it is a another dog though, there is no chance to break them up unless I have the proper "breaking stick" on hand. It's very sad and gives people the window to stereotype that my dog is dangerous. People go inside with the kids, if he barks agressively at neighbors, the cops show up with a report "the neighbors said the dog was about to attack". I have to have my dog registered with the state. In some of the states in the US, you are required to be 18.
Did you know in my state, Pittbulls are not allowed where other dogs are welcomed. If a Pittbull gets loose, it is caught and put to sleep. The SPCA will "put down" a whole litter of pups. Any other dog will be held at the kennel until owners claim them.
No one gives them the chance to prove their purpose. If you get a good bond with your dog, training them is easy because they love you and will listen. he does not mind kids either. An adult person should approach with some caution, whereas kids are allowed to yank his ears and sit on him.
