Lol. I only voted for XBOX 360 cause of Halo 3. And I've never been a PS fan. 1,2,3, doesnt matter. First console I got after my dreamcast was the xbox then my uncle gave me a Ps2. So thats y I've been sorta in love with the XBOX. I just ignore my Ps2 at times and play Halo 2 all the way! I c no need for a Ps3. But I'm convinced since I saw Burnsides thread all about PS3. I gotta admit it looks nice and the controller is sick. But might be hard to use. And just like some friends of mine you'll say "PS consoles have always been better cause they got more games. XBOX is only popular for and because of Bungie's Halo series." Exactly thats why I like the XBOX only and cause of Halo games.

i dont see why people like those Halo games so much. Killzone 2 has already pretty much gotten Halo 3 beaten and we havent even heard anything on it yet.

I voted for PS3. Xbox360 hasn't really promised us anything and all we got was a pretty bad MTV unveiling and a few shots of sports games for launch. Hell it's even having PS2 ports as launch titles, what is that all about??
PS3 has given everything anyone could possibly want in an unveiling and what it's promising literally blows Xbox360 away. Not to mention the awesome visual treats we've been given.

If the E3 conferance was a title bout in a ring, PS3 would have lain the knockout in seconds and Revolutions didn't even get in the ring!



And yes, Killzone2 has completely dismantled Halo, rebuilt it and dismantled it again. Halo3 will have to be nothing short of godly to beat it and frankly, i doubt it'll even be noticed since the PS3 is set for release at the same time.

so far, the PS3s library is looking pretty cool and expansive. all ive read about are action and survival horror games with a few RPGs, which is excellent. have you seen the amount of first person shooters being released for the PS3 right away? its incredibe!

Really? Got any proof? Nvr heard that Killzone 2 beat Halo 3 in Popularity. First Killzone sucked I've played it. And First of all, how can u diss Halo like that? Records were set when Halo2 first came out. On first day, when halo2 came out they made a revenue of 125 million dollars. Beating Spiderman 2(took 2 weeks to reach 125 mil), and Titanic. First 3 months 6.5 million copies of Halo2 was sold. Halo Franchise has sold an approximate 12.5 mil copies halo and halo2 combined. And on first day halo2 came out, an approximate of 3 million copies were sold. There is currently 3 Million users that signed up on XBOX live just to play online for Halo2. Its the mostly played game played on Live. Second would be the Tom Clancy Games. Since November when Halo2 came out, approximately 14 mil people have bought the game.

i dont care how much copies it sold or how popular it was. popularity does not make a good game. it matters how good the actual game is. i prefer killzone. i own it and it does not suck in the least. i like Halo 1, but 2 just blew. it was all the same thing over and over again. and im expecting nothing short of the same thing for 3. and try watching the Killzone 2 trailer and tell me that it does not look amazing.

Well what you just said is,to be blunt, ignorant. Halo is a video game while those others are movies. They are two different markets and therefore cannot be comparedlike that. Secondly, while Halo 2 may have excellent online play, nothing and I mean nothing is an excuse for the pitiful single player expierence.

ANd its about time A PS game has Rag-doll Physics. BEcause Before, the PS2 CPU couldnt handle all the physics in a game.

Soul matrix. Square has been making Final Fantasy games for about 20 years now, I think they can get by without one person ok. As for the comment about the PS and rag doll physics, that is another ignorant statement. A great number of games on the PS systems have had rag doll physics. i must say i really hate halo, my brother and best friend loved the series, my friend was one of the 125 million who bought the game on the first day, they beat it that SAME day...and now whats left? frag matches....that gets boring pretty quick....to me anyway, halo is all hype

call me dumb, but i voted for nintendo revution. theyve been making games for over a decade now, they single handedly pulled the video game franchise from the dead, and itll probably be cheaper than XBox 360 and PS3, and be in stock(maybe )

besides, halo SUCKS(yes i said it, but its way too overrated and its not as great as Half life 1 or 2) and Sony's products break too fast for me.

I getting the revolution (nintendo fanboy forever!!!!) if it comes out first but I plan to buy all three systems, since the x-box comes out first then it will be the first one I buy and the rest simultaneously.

Halo 2 single player was sh!t
Halo 2 MP is the best MP FPS, it won awards ffs.

Why dont you google for E3 videos of FF8 and Tekken Tag, check how sweet those looked, then compare it to the actual game.

You know i was wondering why they would make a sequel like Killzone 2 to the obviously disasterous Killzone 1. They probably would have been much better off having it as a new game entirely, since opinions of it will be tainted from the start.

i dont care what anyone says. Killzone is an excellent game. theres nothing wrong with it. i dont care about reviews. i dont care about popularity. Killzone 2 is going be even better. Hopefully there wont be any glitches in it this time tho.

Think of it this way. Soon We'll feel old for saying Halo was a groundbreaking FPS. In the Future we'll see games that will make us wonder why we even tolerated games like Halo. Remember goldeneye? Perfect Dark. So do I. Damn, other ppl my age don't know these games.

I have an XBOX now, and it still lacks many good games that the PS2 has. Unless XBOX 360 steps up to the plate and delivers some great games at launch, I'm going with PS3. XBOX 360 will probably be awesome indeed, but you can't have a good system without good titles.

Revolution. Because...
1) I love nintendo
2) three times gamecube power is plenty for me
3) complete backwards compatiblity (nes,snes,N64,GC)
4) it looks better than the PS3Grill.

It also seems to be the cheepest of the three, because it doesn't have a supercomputrer. The PS3 is estimated to cost about $465, better start saving. I'm still interested in a PS3 so I can finally go back and play PS2 games. Mistwalker may help the Xbox 360 in japan, but I have seen nothing but a single screen shot from them.
Time will tell.

WOW!! i take my vote back on the Xbox 360.. i didnt really get to see screenshots of the games on XBOX.. but ps3 had more to offer and holy crap that look amazing... i mean the graphics are reallll i cant believe it.. im tellin u thought it dosent get any better then that, so here come the holagraphs on PS4..

theres two of the 3. look for the proto type of the revolution. it looks so much cooler than the real thing.

Thank the fictional god that these are prototypes, though im hoping that sony keeps the console design, but changes the controller, that the revolution saty as is, And the XBOX360 stay in a fanboy's closet like it should.

I'm going for ps3, you can't go wrong, you know exactly what you're getting, and they have some of the best game franchises to boot, mgs, gta, etc.
But am I alone in feeling it's just too early for the next generation? i mean x-box and cube have only been out a few years, and still have relatively few games that truly push the limits of theior graphical capability, and from what i see the improvements in the consoles are relatively small, surely the big 3 should wait a few years untill they have something revolutionary to give us

I wonder how long till they perfect the use of virtual reality. I give it 15-20 years max before song etc release one.

There was no official revolution prototype, some people made CG mockups, but not nintendo.
