im glad to see youre ok. i had surgery about 4 and a half years ago. i had a grape fruit sized tumor growing in my chest cavity and they had to go through my back to get it out. it was the worst experience of my life. of course, my chest is weaker and i sometimes have trouble breathing, but thanks to surgery, my life can go on. some bad things may come out of having it, but the outcomes will almost never be worse than what you were having it for.

I hope you're okay. What was the surgery for?

It is all fun and games till the pain pill wear off... tongue.gif I had surgery on my foot for a out of place bone and it was sweet, till my meds started to fade.

lucky for me, i had a little remote that i pushed, then morphine flowed throughout my whole body. i could do that whenever i wanted. oooo man was that good. tongue.gif

I'm glad you're ok Lucid. grin2.gif

My son had a large tumor removed 18mths ago and decided the medicine for pain was more evil than the pain itself so went without pain relief. KIDS. blink.gif

ahhh the p.c.a. machine... locks out for 5 mins so you cannot overdose yourself.. unfortunately for me, all the morphine did was make me groggy, didnt help with the pain at all, so like tia's son, i forgoed the meds too
sounds like you had the epidural there lucid... they scare the hell out of me.. i know that the percentage of one going wrong is miniscule, but there is no way that i want a needle in my spine. not after all the ops i've had on it
i hope you mend well, and that you get some good food smuggled in to you. cos hospital food sucks big time

Epidurals suck. Scared the crap out of me after everything was said and done and I couldn't move my legs. I freaked. I had one when I had my last child and I still have probs with my back because of it. It gets sore alot.

Moe once had surgery. It was a jolly happy moment to never forget. this was the day when Moe got a zipper installed on his noggin.

Moe is jazzed about this. Now we can take out our brain and play with it.
