Just decided to share my experience with you.

It all happened about 2 years ago, when my Dad had an important meeting to go to. My
dad was looking for the key to open the gates, so he could drive to his meeting. Normally the key would be in the hall, so whoever from us would need it, would just take it. That time the key wasn't on its usual place. So me, my dad any my mom started searching for it. I myself searched everywhere, even the bathrooms...After searching for it for a while my dad decided to break the lock and just drive, as he didn't have much time left. I helped my Dad to break the lock and he drove away. The rest of the day was as usual.

The next morning, when i woke up, my dad told me that the missing key was in the hall on its usual place. He asked me if i was the one who found and placed it there. I told my dad that i didn't find it, neither did my mom.
We didn't have any visitors that day, so nobody could possibly place it there...

I really don't know what to think about this, this the only weird experience i had.

Doesnt mean anything unusal really, could have been misplaced who knows.

Maybe he lost it.

Weird. Sometimes it just happens like that. Maybe you were in such a rush all of you that you couldn't see it. sorry.

Things like this seem to happen quite often to almost everyone. I know it does to me. My wife and I will tear apart the house searching for something only to find it in a place we've already looked 6 times..
I'd be inclined to put this down to misperception for the most part. You're looking so hard and focusing so much you blind yourself to the obvious. On the other hand it does seem pretty damn weird sometimes..

Things very similar to this happen in my home all the time. It doesn't really frighten me anymore. It does at times frustrate me though. There are 4 people living in our home. When 4 people look at a key hook and see it is empty, then it is empty. Four people can't all "miss" it. Then when the keys show up later on, exactly where they should have been, yet everyone is adamant that they are not responsible, then it seems obvious that something else is going on. Although it happens with the keys, it also happens with many other things in our home.

If niether you, your mother or your father saw it where it was supposed to be, then I'd say it wasn't there (the first time). I can't say what the explanation could be, but I would say it is weird. Please share it with us if anything else of this nature takes place.

That sort of thing's happened to me. I thought I misplaced something, and looked all over for it, then found it in my room where I could have SWORN it wasn't when I first started looking... in a really obvious place, too.
