Hi everyone as I posted earlier I am a rookie at Ghost hunting, so now I have a question, I already have a camera, flashlight, tape recorder, now I want to get a emf meter (gaussmeter ?) the only problem #1 I do not know were to get one #2 I do not know how to use one ! Can some one out there in UM please tell me a couple of pointers on how to use a emf meter

You can order them online. There are a few sites that are really cheap. And to how to use one, I have never, so all you would need to do is do a google search on instructions for using an EMF meter. Here are some links

Something else that would be useful is trying to find a reason why a gaussmeter would detect a ghost.

Thank you all, for all the info, Me and my 8 year old daughter are really getting in to ghost hunting, and going to cemeterys it is going to be a great hobbie

Don't forget to get permission. Some cementaries do not let people in after certain hours.

Localized fluctuations in EMF's indicate an aberrance. Usually, this is attributable to environmental influences and in no way does it specifically indicate the presence or expression of paranormal phenomenon.
However, it is a tool, much like an infra-red imaging device, which can assist in the total understanding of the supposed event.
