Are there any similarities between Neo and Darth Vader?

the matrix movies are among the dumbest ever,while the star wars movies are among the best!

I don't see any though I've only saw one Star Wars movie. So was The Matrix the first movie about the maya? If not which movie was?

Vadar didn't like his mommy killed very much

Both went on rampages on the people or things they hated

What is the force that is everything? I remember Neo realizing himself and the world as a matrix. Can this matrix of energy we live in be the force that man psi people want to control?

I guess to be like Luke or Neo or Vader one has to go through a mystery school and find his phylosophers stone or whatever it is. But today the mystery schools are usually secret societies with their monk like hooded black robes. No NWO conspiracy here right?

I think you are reading too much into fictional movies. Remember, not everything you see on the silver screen is true!

1.Both were "the chosen one" deatined to destroy the Sith/Matrix
2.both were older then the usual "jedi training/Matrix awakening" people(most jedi's were trained since age 3, Anikin was like 10; and most people awakened from the Matrix were teens or younger, Neo was in his early 30's)
3.Both go on homocidal rampages when someone they love dies(Neo in the original Martix after that lady dies; and Anikin after his mum dies)
4.both wear black
5.both were the most powerful of their kind(Anikin was the most powerful jedi(pre-luke), and Neo was the most powerful human in the Matrix)

umm, thats all I can think of...keep in mind I never saw Matrix3 so I'm sure there are more I didn't mention
