LINCOLN, England (AFP) - Millions of peas caused traffic mayhem after a truck shed its 18-tonne load of the vegetable onto the busy A1 highway in Lincolnshire, in the east of England.
The road was obstructed for more than 12 hours as the mushy green mess was cleaned up at a traffic circle near Grantham, where the truck had collided with a bus. There were no serious injuries, police said.
