No, it isn't, actually, upon watching for a second time, you can cleary see the person run up and turn around and run back. Speed up the camera frames and voila, you got you ghost film.

Anyways, the dust particles look like there running in real time though so to me it does not look to be sped up but what do i know. that dude sure moves fast.

Yeah, I definitely say it's a fake - the shoes gave them away.

LOL...I can also see the shoes. Speeding up the frames would make it blurry and hard to tell what it there.

No this is very real. This was first shown on Ghost Hunters on tv. They went to the spot where they taped the ghost and attempted to duplicate it to see if any one of the crew faked it. It was very impossibly to fake. The space in which the ghost ran was very narrow, the person attempting to duplicate it was not able to run with a blanket on himself. If you were to watch it on tv as I did you would see just how real it was.

kinda creepy at first, but like everyone else said, it fake. its someone in a black cloak or cape of some sort running towards the camera and back from it again. like others pointed out, the shoes are very easy to see. the footage is also probably sped up so you cant tell what exactly it is. not hard to fake at all.

hmm. i saw most of that episode. must have missed that part tho. i guess it could be real, but what are the odds of the same exact thing happening again?

I saw this clip awhile back; it freaked me out the first time I saw it.

No, it really is easy to fake. These days you can duplicate anything with ease. You can clearly see the persons pants, and if they were wearing a blanket trying to disprove it, they're a bunch of a idiots. Just because it is narrow, doesn't mean that it cannot be done. It isn't all that difficult to run down a narrow path, turn the other way and run back. Another thing that gives it away, is you can see shoes.

And it does look like they sped the camera up, especially on the last segment. The dust is moving more rapidly than it should, and the running seems blotchy.

Isn't that an image that they caught on GhostHunters? I have seen this before & I believe it was on SciFi's GhostHunters......may be wrong, but I don't think so cuz I remember them trying to simulate it.....I will check it out & will let y'all know...Thanks for sharing!

I saw this originally on Ghost Hunters as well. I'm not sure how I feel about it quite frankly. I can see how easily it could be faked, and I don't think they tried all that hard on the show to re create the footage. Besides if they did fake it I doubt they would go out of their way to show how easy it would be to duplicate.

On the other hand it does look good and I don't think there is any rule that says ghosts can't wear shoes...Anything is possible I guess.

Maybe ghosts wear shoes now days?

It's tempting to lighten that up in adobe premiere. might give a clearer image of what that is. I personally see what looks like a man in a black hooded cape, but depending on what kind of camera was used, it could be a lighting problem caused by moving the camera suddenly so it goes out of focus-which would explain why it jolts forward then moves back.

If you can't see the man clearly then consider this..Those dust particles are moving awfully fast for an empty hallway that appears to enclosed..It would take a stiff wind to move them like that..Or just speeded up camera motion..

im gonna have to agree wiht Falco. upon watching the video again, ive seen that the dust particles are moving way too fast. theres no reason for them to be doing that unless there was a breeze, which i doubt there was.

I've been watching this video off and on all day and (maybe it's just me), but it seems like when the "ghost" appears and retreats, the 'orbs' almost freeze for a split second. Like the video was stopped and rewound really fast.

If it is fake I ask you this. Why doesn't his head go up and down like it does when a person walks? Even when you slow it down his head is balanced.

I never saw a head...if it was covered by the cape or whatever against a black background, you probably wouldn't see much movement. Therefore giving the effect of being "balanced" IMHO.

I didn't really notice the dust thing either until I watched it a few times, it's a shame, would have been really cool footage. ....Grrr...PEOPLE and their dadgum trickery!

If I remember correctly about the episode, either the place was really drafty or they had some doors open that the couldnt get closed for some reason or another, so it's highly possible that a breeze was blowing through there....

I believe that's camera distortion and nothing else....

I saw that episode of Ghost Hunters as well (love that show). They did try to recreate it and had a hard time trying to run up and down that narrow corridor with a blanket over them. However if someone was wearing a cloak or a cape and they fast fowarded it I guess it could be fake. Interesting to think about.

Well, as was said, the people of Ghost Hunters caught this on film. They performed some tests to see whether or not it was an apparition, and the test proved that it was nearly impossible to run down that walkway with a blanket covering oneself or otherwise.

I don't believe it was made to fool it's viewers, but I can't be completely sure it was a ghost either.

I thought the video was somewhat eerie, disappointing it’s fake...
