Not me, I have actually heard a lot of very good rap music. Infact the last two Eminem albums point out some very interesting satirical concepts on todays society.

I mean 'Mosh' it's one hell of a reflection on what goes on in the minds of people in this particular segment of history. Wouldn't you agree?

Well.... I'm talking about 50 cent...ludacris....missy elliot......etc...... those kind of rappers......

I've noticeed that the rapper Fat Joe is the only fat white guy who can eat hamburgers and get away with it.......

Fat Joe can only Lean Back without having a heart attack. He was so overwhelmed with joy that he had to make a song about it.

Personally I find Rap to be very lacking in talent. Its same constant beat and 3rd grade poetry! It takes no talent to "talk in rythme" into a microphone. and I I said any 3rd grader can write these lyrics. Now other than obscene lyrics (which still require a 3rd grade education no more) Its takes little brain or talent to Rap.

If you lisen to the song closely he's actually breathing a little too much when he says "Lean back, lean back" lol

Who here has tried to rap before? I have, and I can't, not for the life of me. If it's that easy then I must truly be a talentless hick.
I find Missy Elliotes music tends to break ground, she makes a strong role model for young woman and she isn't scarred to stretch her wings musicaly. For her I also have much respect.

Also I can say that I agree foul language doesn't take anymore than a third grade education.

That is true... but it's hard to find a rap song that doesn't talk about sex, drugs, gun, the "hood", and race or image....

It's not just what they rap about... it's also the fact that they don't really have any talent. i can rhyme very well myself.... read my blog. But i can't sing... all fat joe, missy elliot, 50 cent, etc...... are doing is talking...... along with beats in the backround.... hey can they sing a note? I don't think so...

there is some talent to it; but I agree with you for the most part. Other then the (what I call "good" songs) the rest is sh** about guns, killing, sex and what not... I can't stand it. Their are a few artist and songs out there that are about life and other things, not just the hood. So I also agree with Kismit

yes i also agree with you.... artists like alicia keys, omarion, Ashanti...etc......I'm alright with....... they can sing... and write great lyrics.....

I agree and along with using the "f***" word all the time and I was amazed at home many use the word "Nigger"... can you imagine driving through town with yuour car window open or soft top roof down singing along to songs as a white person and using the word "Nigger" I am sure that would attract a little bit of unwanted attention. Any yet you listen to a few other rap artists and the songs have meaning, I kind of like the eminem Stan one.. hey I thought this was the joke section...

Any of the mainstream 'Fashion Rap' is really horrible.

As you said Ludacris , Fat Joe etc. No talent really.

Missy Elliot really has come a long way and does have her own unique style.
