How many souls do exist?

Is it the same number that was in the Beginning or can the soul be created? If you create a soul, how do you know it possesses a consciousness?

It is not too complicated to create an AI system that would respond just like the alive one. Then when the "soul" is created, it is immediately supplied with the AI system.

Isn't it more interesting to live in a world were so many live beings exist? Isn't it cool how their number is getting bigger and bigger? It can be, there are only I and you, dear reader.

You are used to by things in the stores. You never saw how they are being made, where they are being made, you just saw something on the TV.

Indeed, how do They make those gears so precisely. You need a gear to use it as a mold for a gear.

That would depend on wether a soul consists of particle/ waves or not. If it is composed of matter, it is possible to create out of energy. There are experiments that suggest a soul is is composed of matter and that it has mass.
If a soul is composed out of something spiritual, then it can only be created through spiritual means.

I believe the myth of the soul was created by the ego of the human mind that refused to accept it's own mortality and the irrevocable fact of physical death, as witnessed in their own contemporary culture as well as that exampled by other species.

I think the myth of soul was diagrammed,sort of speak, into the precept of "organized religion" (as opposed to spirituality), as a method of controlling the mind of humanity under the jurisdiction of an authoritarian body, imbued by a higher power (another myth) with the knowledge and authority to guide followers toward immortality (an after life).

Leading back to the base desire once again, not have to face the irrefutable truth of human life; physical death.

Oh I understand that Silver. I was trying to insert a funny in the midst of all the frustration. And I agree with your opinion on Moderators exercising their authority on boards. I would also think if a Mod. had the where with all to edit or delete a post because it violated TOU, that out of respect for that authority and a member/poster, they would let them know about the edit and why it was applied.

Well seriously a soul is something I think is invisible like intangable. So how can actually say what a soul is consisted of? And if a person doesn't have God or a deity? Do they have a soul? I am not sure. Because doesn't the holy spirit reside in your soul?
