According to this legend within a time period of about 200,000 years an asteroid hits the Earth and as a result a crustal pole shift occurs and while I prefer to get more into this matter when I present another legend. It is important to understand this while we are addressing That One's. original.gif

Lets begin...

Often when such pole shifts occur an ice age follows and in the most recent one to today such a time did occur, this was actually very good news to the humans that had survived. As the ice subsided carcasses of animals frozen, from when the ice age began, appeared everywhere, sending many tribes back north.

In the general area of what is now known as Southern Arizona about 30,000 to 33,000 years ago there lived a tribe whose population was of about 10,000 people. One day a man came to be amongst them he was a quiet person, very clean and proper and expressed no ill towards other creatures of the earth, but the other men of the tribe did not like him. The reason for this dislike was that if he stayed they would have to allow him to have a woman and they would not allow that unless they knew for certain what kind of person he really was.

Now it would surprise you to know just how far away from a tribe such matters can be investigated, with the use of smoke signals messages could literally be sent anywhere in the hemisphere. So the men who by all rights were really jealous over which woman he would posses set out to find out exactly who he was.

While by our standards it took a long time the men of the tribe were able to contact every tribe in the western hemisphere and from that the response that they had gotten was no one knew him.

Now it was impossible for them to consider that someone could come from outside the area they had searched so they concluded that at least one of the tribes had lied. In other words, so horrible were the past acts of this man no one would admit knowing him.

They decided that because they were certain what they believed was a fact they were going to acuse him and then kill him and so made a plan. One day the man came out of his tent to collect water from the tribal well. After he arrived and was collecting his share of water for the day the tribesmen surrounded him.

The leader of the tribesmen came foward and announced there sentence to the man who first asked why had they not simply asked him to leave.

He then looked around him and later it would be said that each man had felt as if while he was looking around him the man had looked at each of them into their eye's.

The man then looked up into the sky and pointed to a spot looking then to the leader he said, "Now you shall see the power withing me." Just after he said
this a supernova occurred in the sky, at the place he was pointing.

He never said what his name was and so the people called him "That One."

That One was defined as a Founder, a position or label often defined as being
translatable to an Angel in western society.

Native Americans have often expressed the belief that founders came from other worlds and or places that exist beyond the sky.

That One was alleged to have been pointing at the Gemini star system at the exact time a supernova did in fact occur, in that general area of space, in real
life. Given this act and taking into consideration the rest of his life he was accepted as having done one of two things.

First, that he had foreknowledge of this event and therefore made use of that information to deal with his problem and second, he actually caused the supernova
to make his point.

That one, was alleged to have had strange devices, which he claimed to use
for travel and as well, asserted he came from a place we today identify as
the Phoenix Supercluster aproximatley 500 billion light years from Earth.

It is said that he was not only known to just one half of the world but that there
he had names such as Gemini, Thoth,Thor and Emperor Chin (the emperor that lived a thousand years) again according to his legend.

This was possible because he could change his skin pigmentation and physical appearance to resemble other cultures and therefore be accepted as a prophet to them.

Any thoughts?

This sounds like a variation of the Viracocha/Quetzlecoatle legend althoug I have not heard of this particular story before.

Its a very ancient legend I was taught when I was a young man about a Founder.

Any thoughts?

I've heard of it, though never had a chance to read it first hand, nifty! thanks original.gif

I find the legend fascinating because of the issues it suggests the first (and most important to me) being a hemispheric form of communication in relation to ancient cultures residing in the western hemisphere.

Any thoughts

that's pretty cool just to think about.. i don't really understand it.. but, where did you get this idea from?
Pawna
Could send smoke signals anywhere in the Hemisphere? Really? Across lakes, oceans, mountain ranges? Didn't matter about weather, no? Everyone spoke the same smoke-language? They were confident of grilling every last man on the planet about this bloke? What kind of description did they give?

'As the ice subsided carcasses of animals frozen, from when the ice age began, appeared everywhere, sending many tribes back north' What? I cant even imagine what this means.

'Now it was impossible for them to consider that someone could come from outside the area they had searched ' Yeah, I know how you feel. When I lost my pen the other day, I searched literally the entire Northern Hemispere. Where was it? Ruddy Australia.

'That one, was alleged to have had strange devices, which he claimed to use for travel and as well, asserted he came from a place we today identify as the Phoenix Supercluster aproximatley 500 billion light years from Earth.' So how can we see it? I mean, the light from there surely will not reach us until roughly 486 billion years next Tuesday, or did you mean a completely different distance: http://www.atlasoftheuniverse.com/nearsc.html

'Any thoughts?' Just one: why bother posting this?
