Full Version: Premonitions?

autopsies
I’ve been having many; very realistic and odd dreams lately. One of which I can’t seem to find the meaning of—no matter who I ask it’s always the same: “You’re going to die.” The strange thing is that I don’t know why they say that, since the thing ‘out to get me’ is supposed to be extinct. I don’t know* the exact number of dreams I’ve had featuring the Velociraptor. As strange as it seems already, it does get weirder—and my ‘Are we 100% on ANYTHING?’ will play into this.

The vision I had before the most memorable dream of the raptors ‘happened’ that afternoon in the same fashion that it occurred in my dream. I don’t know if many of you would recall that a few weeks ago a policeman was caught between a pick-up truck and car, would you? Well it was my step dad that brought it up; of course, he wasn’t around while I was telling my dream to my mom. After I was done he started up and said, “Do you remember that thing on TV I showed you earlier?” All of the sudden a very strange look crossed my moms face, and it hadn’t hit me yet until she started moving her hands around like: “You, that, TV, dream…wow.”

I don’t feel like first dream in the series is appropriate for what I’m trying to get through, so I won’t tell the whole of it.

Though, my point in this thread is to ask are we totally sure, I mean like 100% sure, that everything is as we’re told? Because there are people out there who can convince you that two plus two … isn’t four. Anyways, I don’t know what category this would fit into, dreams/conspiracies/dinosaurs, I don’t know so move it if it needs to go somewhere else.

----------------------------------------------

Now, with that said, I also don’t know if that was just a coincidence or if it was an actual premonition. If it was, then I’m in for a hell of a ride…

Q1: What are the odds that a series of dreams would all become true—in this case, the first having happened a few hours later?

Q2: What are the odds that a raptor still exists—even a small population under going secret testing and studying?

Q3: What are the odds of a dream having been dreamed by two people at the same time coming true?

Q4: Why would four certain people be involved in such a case?

Q5: What does the following things have in common—Velociraptors, shadowed men with guns, death, Satan, and dreams?

(See poeticjustice’s thread for his story).

--------------------------------------------------
I will wait until I get answers for the questions above before I continue…

EDIT: For those who don't know what this raptor is click here and read about, just a few simple things and pictures. I don't want to get other people involved in this four person ring right now, just answers. Every ounce is true, no matter how crazy it sounds. I swear on my name. And it's Casey.

-sigh-

I should be used to no one posting on my topics...

Hey, MODs, if someone doesn't post in like...I dunno, if you feel that it should be deleted or closed...go ahead.

I'm not sure where you went with a lot of this post as it tended to wander, but one thing I am 100% on is this..
Neither you nor anyone else will be eaten by a Velociraptor anytime soon.
Now if you don't want to say anymore that's fine I suppose, but you can't very well expect people to comment on your threads if nobody has any real idea what you're trying to get at..
poeticjustice
i really dont think that was very nice
Falco Rex
It wasn't about being nice or not..All I'm really saying is that without a coherent and cohesive point that leads to some conclusion we'll never know if what's being said has any merit..
I still stand by what I said about being eaten by dinosaurs though..

I've had premonitive dreams before, but sometimes premonitions can be confused with dreams. Some elements of dreams can be dead giveaways. The thing about two people: I've had the same dream as my friend after we meditated together. If you have a spiritual or mental bond with someone, you're much more likely to have the same dreams as them, as you may (possibly) be transmitting to them. I do not believe that you are in any danger of raptors, but in any case, who knows.
Back to the subject of dead giveaways: I've had a dream where I watched on helplessly while my friend ritually murdered me on prom night. Hasn't happened yet. I seriously doubt that you are going to be eaten by raptor. If you are, you might as well enjoy your last days. And don't even try a dream dictionary. Most of them lie.
