Oh my god
You have to level that this isn't just some monster- its an ordinary guy that was pushed a little bit to far by todays sad excuses for children
But I admit, people with tempers like that should't have jobs like that....
IamFS
May 28 2005, 10:20 AM
i see it different, those kids may have been out of line, but they are kids! i agree, that job should not have been givin to a middle aged man living in the 1960-70s! he is way to old fasion. it may have used ot been ok to treat kids like that, but we know better now, im proud of those kids for fighting back! if you look closly, the one kid who stands up and says...HEY MOTHER F****!, was very brave, and saved a young girl from getting hurt from a big man, he was very brave, i think it was good of him to do that, even though he got hurt in the process
i was trying to figure out how old those ids were, im guessing 8th grade
im still trying to figure what the HELL happened in this video, im assuming the kids were smarting off..but still, thats no reason for the dirver to react the way he did. you think he went to jail?

also, that kid in the blue, it shows that people really do have a feelings still, and maybe our youth isnt doomed!
Fox Lupine
May 28 2005, 11:15 AM
Look- I agreed he shouldn't have sone what he did, I agreed he was sick, but our youth is doomed- I myself am only 16, but-
For example- I recently went to see 'revenge of the sith' with a friend
Waiting for the train on the way home, we moved to let these 5 girls sit down, whom then implied we slept with monkeys and were excreted bodily waste. Apparenty we were 'earwigging'
Also, they informed me spitting on the floor was in fashion
Whatever anyone says, this driver didn't just decide "I'm gonna treat those kids like crap today" and they must have done something
I do agree they ere brave to stand up to him like they did though.
I don't want to be known as a child hater threough this post- lol

Somehow I don't believe that youth was doomed from the beginning, but thats just me

.
About the bus driver: Yes I know discipline is a good idea, but not in the way he handled it; thats just a raving madman

.
People like that shouldn't be around kids, don't you agree

?

A believe that the youth of today are not brought up on the same discipline as when I was a teenager. And this shows in the way they treat others, even their own family – because family values are breaking down.
But this man is being far too aggressive! And he is using his strength and size to be over powering and violent towards a youngster.
The shame is these kinds have probably driven him mad for years, and one day he clicks and loses it. (Not that I’m saying what he done is right, its not.) But videos don’t lie. He would have been prosecuted and lost his job at the very least.
Anger solves nothing! And that one outburst has changed that mans life…

I will agree with the people who say good for those kids, and I'm sure that guy lost his job or worse is in jail either way is fine with me.

There is really no excuse for this bus driver acting in this manner. He was the adult and the authority figure and he should have kept his cool in a tough situation. Kids always try your patience it's what kids do, if you can't hack it than you shouldn't be working with them.

Then it'd been better if one day he just wouldn't have shown up to get the kids to school.

It didn't even look like the kids were doing anything wrong in the first place to warrant this anger. I am a bus driver myself, and this guy has probably been pushed day in and day out by the kids, but it in no way excuses his behavior towards these children. Just because a kid called him a name is no reason to start chocking the poor thing. It takes alot of patience to do that job, which he either has none or lost it a long time. I cant believe he got off from that, but losing his job would be the best thing for him and everyone else out on the road. As a driver I pretty much let the kids do their own thing and will only have a word if they are being really silly and endagering themselves or others. Most kids are pretty good though and do not cause any trouble.

That guy should never have been driving buses of school kids in the first place and I understand that kids can be disrespectful and can drive anyone crazy but he is a mature responsible adult who shouldn`t have resorted to violence in any way.

i swear to god i had a busdriver just like that except she would hurt the parents when they rebeled. she swore at us sooooooooooo much. I gotta tell ya though she was f****** evil! OK one time a parent came on the bus to complain, and she jameed the parent imbetween the bus doors. Then she relesed he suddenly causing her to fall backward and hit her head! The she tried to run her over! She got transferred to a different bus but my best friend has her now andshe is still evil

I know how you deal with kids when they tick you off. You stop the bus and leave. Just long enough to get them worried and far enough to keep an eye on them without them seeing you.
Let me tell you guys kids can be the worse. My bus has elementary students that behaive like bloody CHIMPS!!!

I have seen them holding screaming contests, climbing on the seats, showing blatant disrespect to the driver, and trying to hold a conversation with people 5 BLOODY SEATS AWAY!!!!!
I can understand the drivers rage but I agree it should'nt have come to that. take into consideration he could've just pulled the bus over and stayed there. "You kids want to get home so badly? Well either shut your traps, or get out and walk!

I've only had one bad driver. He was a substitute driver. He was saying, "G**damn kids" while spit balls hit him. I never met anyone like that who worked with children before. Oh wait, there was that 3rd grade teacher who liked to pull hair...

You take things to heart, you needto lighten up a wee bit
Thats whats wrong today with laws, they are set up so the kids have you hook, line and sinker, shake them up a little and let them know who`s boss, they will soon get on the bus,sit their arses on the seats and do what they are told,or else they get the journey of fear

If anyone actually listened to the video, the driver had called dispatch and he was trying to get a hold of (I believe) the deputy.
If what the kids did was bad enough to call in an officer, obviously they weren't innocent in all this.
I'm not saying what this guy did was 'right', but I also don't think he was in the wrong completely. He just took his anger too far. He is only human, after all.

You bet. They know the score and know that no one, not even their parents are supposed to lay a hand on them. I live across the street from an elementary school filled with little punks. They dump my garbage bins, won't stay out of my flippin' yard, steal from my shed ( I am on my second lock because the little brats broke the first one ), throw rocks at my neighbor's dog, use filthy filthy language and fight in my alley. And you know what? Their parents don't give a flying F**K! I know because I have drug some of these little bastards home to their folks before. all they have to say is "meh, they're just kids".

My dad is a bus driver. On very rare occasions does he come home without a story about being spat on, sworn at or abused and this is just from doing school routes! However angry kids make you, you cannot lose your temper like that.

Hey Girty. I have an Idea on how you can get back at those little brats. what you do is unlock your shed, and wait for them to come waltzing in, when they do the first thing they see is you running at them screaming like a lunatic with a blade or something.
With the line "What were they doing on my property in the first place?" your more or less solid if it comes to anything after that.
Note that your not trying to hurt them. Just scare the crap out of them.
