I dont know if the topic's been up already, but here goes anyways..
The grand question we all ask ourselves at least once in our life. What is the purpose of life? Is it keeping our species existing? Or perhaps it is the uncovering of the secrets of the universe? Perhaps it is just to live a happy and enjoyable life? What do you think?
IMO, we do not have any specific purpose. We are just creations of evolution, but perhaps that is the idea. Maybe the Creator of this world wants to just see which species survives longest?

That's a very strong question on many different levels, and I'm surprised it hasn't gotten any replies yet. I believe the purpose of life could be a mixture of all of the above things you've mentioned, but we haven't succeeded because everyone still sees someone as an enemy. Therefore, I believe the purpose of life isn't neccesarily world peace, but universal tolerance.

This should be in the belief, religion bit etc.
There was a link on general discussion somewhere that gave you a philosophy test, showing you what you think the meaning of life should be (ish).
