Whenever I try to close a pop-up or another window affiliated with THAT site it closes all of them.

For example, I can do on JPJ and click 'Open games', which then opens the game in a new window. As well as this it opens two pop-ups, but if I try to delete any of the windows they all disappear.

Any help? no.gif

Do I need to explain any deeper? huh.gif

I use the Yahoo pop up blocker, and very seldom dose one get through. Also you might increase your level of security by clicking Tool -Internet options- Security. Don't put it on full or you lose your connection cookies for this and other sights.

Good Luck!

I also recommend using ad-aware personal and getting the google pop-up blocker if you're going to use Internet Explorer as other has recommended, but another way is to download Mozilla Firefox. It's a better browser in my opionion without any popups!
Walken
No, you misunderstand me.

I already have adware and security software, but the problem is with it closing all affiliated windows. no.gif

Close them with your mouse, and wait for them all to load before you start going click happy.
Walken
No, I do close them with my mouse, but they all automatically close with it.

For example, if I'm on UM and I open a link someone sent in a new window, then close it down, the window with UM in it automatically closes it too. no.gif

Walken: Suggestion..... Step one: Download/install Firefox 1.04, Opera 8.0, and K-Meleon browsers. Step two: Get rid of IE. Step three: Download GNU/Linux to disk and install Linux as your operating system...get rid of Windows! Now install any other extensions to Linux that you may want. NOW YOU'RE IN BUSINESS!! rofl.gif thumbsup.gif

Seeking: Nice graphic! And why would should Christians (or any other religionists) need facts, anyway? After all, they have "faith!" crying.gif Faith is wonderful, you can believe ANYTHING!!!! Who needs facts?? unsure.gif

Watcha got against Firefox? I use Firefox 1.04, Opera 8.0, and K-Meleon, and haven't had any problems at all. [IE is only the most popular because it comes bundled with Windows......were it not for that, I doubt if ANYONE would be using IE!]

Why shouldn't I switch to Fire Fox? ohmy.gif
<bleeding_heart>
It sounds like that action is causing an error with Iexplore.exe when this happens all windows are closed by design.

Try this http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

If not;

What version of IE and Windows are you using?
Is everything upto date?
Are you using a pop-up blocker?

Walken
Well I did actually switch to FireFox a week ago, which is why suddenly I'm wondering if perhaps I shouldn't have...
<bleeding_heart>
