Hi. I humbly request to all the fine and fantastic artists here for a design cover of a cd that I am soon to be releasing...
It is a group called- The Elementals, and naturally I wanted to convey something dramatic that incorporates the four elements...fire, air, earth, and water.
below is something I saw in visual paradox.com and I really liked it, but thought it wasn't edgy enough. I wanted something more intense and dominating...
So my thing is, if anyone can design a cd cover for me, leave out any text...just an image...and if it is picked, your name will be included onto the cd. Of course there will be a fee to be paid to the designer which can be discussed privately with the chosen design. thumbsup.gif so PLEASE, I am clueless to try to attempt a project like this...help a girl out! wub.gif

By the way, in case anyone was wondering, there are 4 members in the group.
Mr. Fahrenheit
What about a face cut into four parts, each part displaying an element...like earth could be brown and cracked. The face could be like...screaming.

Mr. Fahrenheit

I think the screaming face would be more dramatic and out there like she wanted.
Sorry if that sounded a bit rude, just stating my opinion.
HolyDevil2053
those are all very good ideas...I just don't know how to make photoshop images...i can edit images already made, but actually generating them is a whole new area that I know nothing about...If there is anyone that can help me with that, I would appreciate it...I actually will try to do something on my own as well...maybe posting that and having someone input their ideas would be easier-
Bizeebutt
I'm gonna try something for ya too.... its worth a shot, right?? I'm just sitting here using photoshop for work, and I might as well be doing something fun original.gif
greychupa
How about taking something very simple that has got nothing to do with you or the band members or the kind of music that you guys are making. Works every time.
TheOriginalF
I have to agree with greychupa, sometimes a very simple and effective album cover can be the best way to go. Often times when an album has too much happening on the cover or it's going out of it's way to make a point it can be viewed as pretentious and be a turn off to a potential new listener who may happen across your cd. This is just one point of view and dramatic and eye catching can work very well if done properly. Good luck with album and the band I hope it turns out great! thumbsup.gif
Ancient Sorceress
I have a cool idea but its different from you guys thoughts its really cool and I could draw it
but here it the huge problem I dont have a drawing program on my computer its an iMac its retarted so if I drew it it would have to be mailed to the person to see it. thats the problem, cause Im sure you dont want to be giving your adress on the internet to someone you dont know thats not safe there are creeps out there. But if you want to see it any way you can private E-mail me. The idea is ssooooo cool but you would need to see it
HolyDevil2053
I am open to any ideas at this point...as original F states...the sketches did look to cluttered and busy...

I don't know...I really want to incorporate something dealing with the 4 elements, but if anything else pops up, let me know...I am ready to see!

Hi, Holy Devil. I was wondering what kind of stage show this group puts on. Are they Metal, deathmetal, goth, ..... What kind of style are they? The was the band dresses and what they sing about should have an impact on the CD cover. If they are a real heavy band they could have the complete opposit on the cover.
I'm an artist.... Your plea for help has really motivated me to draw a bunch of different styles of elementals!!!some of my art...

A body of clay with arms open breaking apart, in the cracks fire glows, a "visual" gust blows the pieces away as tears rain down. this could also be just a face
