I read the DaVcinci Code and i read about the Priory of Sion (how they're supposedly an organisation that keeps the secret of the Holy Grail). I then watched the Secrets of the DaVinci Code and it said that there is no real proof of the existence of the POS. For all I know, it could be a hoax made up by the Plantard guy who claims it is real and he is a member...

If the priority of Sion's main job was to keep the scrolls that state Jesus and Mary were married a secret, why wouldn't they just destroy the scrolls?
