An Austrian holiday resort is offering guests the chance to swim in a pool containing 42,000 pints of beer.



The Starkenber Beer Myth resort located in and around the medieval castle of Starkenberger in Austria's Tyrol region has filled seven 13ft long pools with the beer.

The management claims that beer baths heal various skin diseases.

However, some guests are said to have enjoyed drinking their favourite brew while swimming in the pools.

Manager Markus Amann, 23, said: "I would rather swim than swallow, as we serve enough of a cold, fresh tapped beer on the bars next to the pools

Some people would go to any lenghs to get people to their hotels(packs bags and grabs passport)

If they had a bath full of vodka i might be persuaded

I wouldn't dare swallow it.

Those people who swallow it, didn't stop wondering "What if someone was done what everyone does in a ordinary pool?" or "What if anyone had taken a piss?"
I think that some of the people might have said "This beer tastes like piss!"

hmmm.... perhaps the beer is actually beneficial to skin, but frankly... I can hardly stand it when someone comes near me with beer BREATH much less when their whole BODY smells like Beer!!

I found it in a little specialty food shop while I was on vacation but couldn't find it on Jack Daniels wed site. So I bought a jar of fudge ice cream topping, heated it, mixed in bourbon to taste, add some walnuts and viola.

oh lets not go. i guess trhe best time to jump in the pool would be when they change the beer then ee and laugh as other people drink it

although i hear that if you soak in a beer bath or pool, you get drunk quicker.

I am having a mental picture form in my head. Close your eyes and imagine a diving board over the beer pool. On this diving board is a stereo typical "redneck" trying to get his buddy's attention. The buddy looks up and says "What in the hell do you want Bubba?"
