When could this life
Have good old days?
Could they really have been there?
Or is it just some haze?
What happened to a time,
When it felt alright to smile?
Was there ever such a time?
Or has it been that long a while?
A time of Love
A time of Joy
A time of Caring
For every girl and boy.
But that time has gone.
Shall it ever return?
All of our aspirations;
All of our hopes burned.
That wonderful time
Has been replaced.
With a monster so horrible.
Such a deadly face.
By a time of hate,
Of agony;
By a time to late
To stop its greed of money.
By a world unlike,
Its ever been known
Where every single person
Is in this thing alone.
How will we survive,
In this world of killing;
When the prospect of war
Seems oh so thrilling?
When the Love we once felt
Has gone away.
How will we survive?
Can it ever be okay?
Our lives: a mess
Our world: even worse
But it's not going to help
Just to shout and curse.
You have to work at it hard
Don't just sit arounf.
Be there to catch the fallers;
Before they hit the ground.
Maybe we can make a change,
First thing to do, is our
Lives we must rearange.
The top priority,
Must be helping others
As if we all were sisters and brothers.
You can be the first one,
To lend a helping hand.
You can be the first one,
To truly understand.
You can be the smiler,
Sharing it with all.
You can be the first one, to answer the call.
The call of justice
The call of help
The call of freedom
Not just the call of yourself.
You can save ones whole world,
Just by donating some time.
It could mean there lives,
For you to be so kind.
Maybe they've never seen
The slightest speck of love.
Maybe they'll think that you were
Sent from above.
Shouldn't that be enough
To make your day.
To make someone elses
Instead of getting pay.
But I'm no in charge.
It's up to you to chose.
Someone out there could win;
Or you, you could lose.
Alright, there it is, my poem. I was wondering if there's anyone who is actually good at writing that would be willing to give me a few pointers
