I saw a deadbolt lock on HGTV that had a key lock both inside and out but the inside key, when it was in the lock, looked like a regular knob that's usually not removable. The show only briefed on it, nothing was on the website, and I got no responce when I asked them for info.
When I have guests I have to have a knob on the inside so they can get out in case of an emergency according to fire codes. But, when there is no one staying there I'd prefer that nobody be able to break a window, reach in and unlock the door.
Does anybody have any ideas, I'm getting tired of people in hardware stores looking at me like
