Anyone who saw Star Wars III in theaters most likely saw the 30 second teaser trailer for this flick: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe: Chronicals of Narnia by C S Lewis.

This trailer blew my away to the point where people were tellinmg me to shut the hell up durring the pre-views I was so jaded.

In my opinion, which no one asked for, I think this movie (and the others that will follow) will blow Lord of the Rings out of the water. JRRT has much respect from me, don't get me wrong but the CSL story has less war and death and more fantasy and magic. (I tell you when I saw that preview begin; I wigged out because I knew what it was) I can't wait for this!

I have to agree with you girty. I read them as a child and read them to my children. And now to my grandchild, they are timeless books. I would recomend them to any age.

I still haven't seen the trailer for this film yet but Im hopefully gonna go see ROTS in the next week or so, so I will see it then.

Looking very much forward to it, although it has to be said I'm looking moe forward to Harry Potter.

Hopefully they will get Sean Bean to voice Aslan although Ian McKellon would be good too. Or even James Earl Jones grin2.gif

Horse and his Boy is probably my fave book though so hopefully LWW will do really well, which it undoubtedly will do, so that they will make the others and Horse and His Boy would be next, unless they make Magicians Nephew next but I think they should release it last 'cos it's basically a prequel and there isn't a whole lot of action in it, it's basically just a story... So if they did it after LWW people might loose interest in it and therefore lessen their chances for a successful franchise but if they release it after the Final Battle and actually market it as a prequel then there will still be interest for it and people will want to see how this wonderful world was set up... or not release it all. I mean, it's not exactly an extremely need to know thing, everything else works fine without it.

I was thinking James Earl Jones myself! thumbsup.gif

I really liked the Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe... My brother read the whole series and really liked them. Thought i should mention for all who care, C.S. Lewis was once an atheist but upon spending some time with JRRT his faith changed to Christianity. Like in The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe Aslan sacrificed his life for Edmund, and was then ressurrected. He was The King of all.

30 secs? The one we got was more like 3 minutes long. Looked quite good.
