David Bowie is absolutely yummy. wub.gif

Maybe if I say it right, the Goblin King will take me away...... *swoon*
_Nyx_
I think it had to do with why they got "slapped", but I'm not real sure....something about sex I'm thinking.....

*edit* got my decades screwed up...there was a bracelet snapping fad here not too long ago and they were banned here. They were those jelly-bracelets (remember them?) and there was something about how many you had was supposedly proportionate to the number of times the wearer had "done" it. We're talking about 7th graders here!!

Anyway, I was way off about the original question of the slapping bracelets... wacko.gif
TheOriginalF
Oh no! Bad memories of the 80's *runs screaming into the night* rofl.gif

Lord I remember all of that stuff like it was yesterday, the 80's were indeed a good time to be a kid. I really miss Saturday morning cartoons...why did they ever have to stop?

Oh and great pic Lila, it certainly brings back memories of my childhood. I know my parents have lots of 80's looking pictures of me lying around their house somewhere....I hope those never see the light of day again! blush.gif

I bought the CD's when they remixed them, but in their day I had their latest cassette as soon as possible and jammed like a mad woman, driving my first car with it's vanity tag; "Jorney" (limited to 6 spaces on tag's here! sad.gif) and their famous scarab logo sticker in my back window.

And, " Lights" was my favorite song; "When the lights go down in the city...." That was the only song that ever made me cry @ a concert. Steve Perry and J. @ Veterans Stadium , Philadelphia PA ! *And I do love "Faithfully" also. Heck, was there a bad Journey song? wink2.gif innocent.gif
