anybody see this video?i saw it last night on cnn,it was quite a chaotic scene.you can cleary see and hear the guy shooting him,and then you can see the cop taking out the guy with a 12 gage.i can't remember,did the killer die or survive?

Yes, after the shooter got a few bullets and was starting a rampage, he was quickly killed by a police officer. The killer is long dead, although I think the cop should have just disarmed him and let the angry Pantera and Damageplan fans have a round with him.

The don't show anything... I give it a 1/10 for no decent video and crappy audio.

Now I'm upset again If it wasn't the cop that killed the shooter it would've been the crowd stomping him to death, which I think was more suitable.

I also saw it, you really can't see anything and you can only hear the gun shots (not that I really want to see somebody murdered but I did catch it on TV). It does provide us with an unsettling view point of a chaotic and tragic scene.

why the hell did the guy kill him anyways?i have never heard of dimebag ever coming out and staing any political opinions or anything else!the guy must have just been bloodthirsty or something.

The man killed him because the killer was crazy, for one. I have heard he also believed Dimebag and Vinnie Paul broke up Pantera, and he was so angry with them he wanted to kill them. Too bad he didn't realize that Phil, singer of Pantera, was thinking of getting the band back to together. Now with Dimebag dead, they can never all get back together. Atleast the killer was taken down before he killed Vinnie Paul, too.

What was the band Dimebag was in at the time of his murder? I can't quite remember although I heard a really cool song from them like the night after on my local radio station's Dimebag Tribute Hour entitled "Dimebag Tribute: What the F*ck is the matter in our world?"
