Wow! That's alot of games!
The Roswell Man
which site(s) will these be available from?? hmm.gif huh.gif dontgetit.gif unsure.gif
BurnSide
I think Revolution will have a specific area you can go to simply download them. It'll be like an option you get during startup. For example with the current GC, if you load it up with no game inside, you can check the memory cards and game settings etc. With the Revo, you'll also be able to simply go to a big list of games, and select one to download and play.
Talon
I hope they increase the number of RPG's, I'd really like Lengend of Mana and Breath of Fire I & II.
BurnSide
I'm sure the list will increase dramatically with time. This is just what is reported to be available on the first launch day.

Ha, by the time i get it, it'll probably have thousands.

I'm quite chuffed with all the Zelda games myself. happy.gif I hope it'll have the SNES FF games too.
Feenix Fire
F-Zero. which one is that one again? The name sounds familiar but i can't remember what it was. no.gif

Shakezulah
Wow that is a lot of games. So many good launch titles.
Blazex
Wow nintendo really is doing everything to get on top of Sony and Microsoft. But come on how many times are they going to remake Mario games? Cant they just do brand new game on Mario. We have had it on like 4 or 5 systems now cant you just give it up and make new one? And Zelda series...they have gone down hill since Ocrina of time and link to the past. Poor Nintendo they are even giving away free games to get on top. Anyway i dont think its fun for alot of people nowadays to play rotten old mario over and óver again. And God would they ever change "itsa me Mario" line from Mario games? No wonder they are are beeing take over by Sony and Microsoft. Also they have like Mario baseball, doctor mario and other wierd stuff ive never seen. Soon they will be giving us Mario : how to make up for women version. Ehh im out i can come up with alot of arguments...but it wouldnt do any good. So I guess ill let this text be...
Super Pancake
That is cool of Nintendo, cant wait for the launch and play all the mario and zelda games again! I notice no Game Cube games are on the list maybe the revolution will be backwards compatible with the GC mini disk!
Mr Ed
Hmm I can't see Super Smash Bros. on that list...
Super Pancake

i'm just wondering because if they do play GC mini disk then most likely the Revolution games will be mini disk also, unless they some how get that panosonic blue laser disk drive playing both mini and standard disk. Or you have to pay for GC downloads *that sucks*. And if they go mini disk on the revolution that would be a waste of a blue laser disk drive.

Xbox360 will be backwards compatible. I'm sure they'll have another mod chip feature like last time.

They're not remaking anything. You don't seem to understand, these are old games. And as you can see, many many people would leap at the chance to play them. I for one was willing to dish out 60 bucks a few days ago to own the original Mario again. These are classic games, the best of the best. If you don't like that, who cares? We don't.
And i hardly see how Mario has been 'remade' countless times. It's a new game each time. That argument is like saying 'i wish they'd stop remaking First Person Shooters, it's gotten old since DOOM1. Can't they come up with anything else??'
All those games on there are classic popular NES/SNES games. If you haven't heard of them, it doesn't make them weird.

Shakezulah
You will be able to download GC games onto the Revolution. And from what ive seen, the Rev games are a normal sized disk, so theres no need for backward compatability with GC games.

WHOO HOO! 4000 POSTS FOR ME!!! grin2.gif

Yes! I remember now! I loved that game! I used to play it a lot with my cousins and sis. *sighs ahhh good times!
Thx BS!

BurnSide
No prob.
It is certainly a good one.
I miss the old 2D-3D graphics of the SNES.
The Roswell Man

sleepy.gif sleepy.gif ......
w00t.gif w00t.gif sorry!! remembering the good ol' days..... thumbsup.gif tongue.gif
Super Pancake
How about the time when there were no cheats or saves. You only had three lives to play 20 levels, and when you beat the game you know you beat the game, now thats nostalgia!

These days game are so easy, with all those easy modes and cheats...... *sigh*
Talon
F-Zero on the SNES was the first racing game I ever played.... I think it was the yellow one I always played huh.gif
Spoonfed Tribe
This makes me wanna buy it, It's got lots of awesome games! But I would still buy it last sleepy.gif

Me want play Animal Forest 64 (Animal Crossing GC), and a few others like that 007 for Nintendo 64 rofl.gif
Talon
Animal Forest? What the **** is that? huh.gif
BurnSide
Animal Forest is the first Animal Crossing game, released on the N64.

Basically a real-life sim game, but with animals and stuff.
Spoonfed Tribe
With the release of Animal Crossing for GC people could send in their game / memory (wtf did 64 use for memory?!) and have the data transferred to a GC Memory card to play it on GC, But Animal forest was a Japanese Exclusive.
Talon
Never heard of Animal Crossing either. A sim, with animal? That like you simulate their lifestyle, or like Sims with animals?

You controlled a character but not like the sims. Instead of setting a marker for them to walk to you used oh say the analogue controls to walk and run, You could fish and a bunch of other stuff like link up and use your GBA as a controller to go to a secret island, you could have upto a 3 story house with a basement and a upstairs ect. ect. real fun game, better than the sims in my opinion thumbsup.gif
Talon
Sounds like an advanced form of Tanagoti or Creatures.
BurnSide
It was alot of fun for a good 6 months or so for me.
You set the clock to your normal clock so if it's 5 in the day it's 5 in the game too. Night passes, morning etc and seasons with snow and and heat and tree cycles etc. You collect thousands of types of items for your home or to make money. Fish, catch bugs, garden and weed, chop and plant trees, interact and play games with other residents of your town (the animals) build collections in the museum and your home, shop, send mail to other players/residents, you can do it all. Alot of fun.
Super Pancake
What I liked about animal crossing is the seemingly infinite gameplay, I heard you can play this game for 50 yrs and you still would not do or complete everything in the game!
MonkeyMan
Zoda's Revenge. I beat the first game so easily. There should be a sequel. That was a very good game.

Well, not really. It takes one year to do everything and get everything, since there is christmas and halloween etc to collect things, and different bugs/fish appear at different times in the year. But if you do play daily for 30 mins for a year, everything can be done.

However, if anyone did play it daily for a year, they're risking never getting laid ever.
ballistico
i might hafta get the revolution for 1 simple reason mario rpg i loved that game and one thing to notice is that they had hey you pikachu on the list wich need a microphone to play so the controlers will prolly have a mic
BurnSide
There was no way to play the game other than using a mic?
