I stumbled upon this when looking at upcoming movies.

The Brothers Grimm

It's a movie about the Grimm Brothers by Disney.

I've never heard of it. the site says it's due Aug. 19th this year. It sounds interesting. Anybody heard of it or does anybody care to elaborate on the movie info?

Its by disney, they probably going to dumb down the political and social agendas behind the stories of the Grimm family, like all their stories remade by Disney, oh well at least another movie I can occupy my cousins with while I'm on U.M.

It's been around for a while, but has been plagued by all sorts of problems during development and production. I think it has been delayed about 3 years. The studio is still arguing with the filmmakers about the amount of prosthetic make-up on Matt Damon. Apparently he is supposed to be made up to look like a very different person and the studio is balking bc they don't want a large part of the movie's star power hidden behind make-up.

but it looks very creative and fun...I hope it turns out well. Unfortunately when movies have this much trouble getting made, things get screwed up.

Well it's directed by Terry Gilliam so it should be good
