This 1981 flick was on re-run on the TV the other day. It starred Barbara Hershey as a woman named Carla Moran. Carla was the victim of numerous sexual assaults by an unseen force, and the movie is a Hollywood-ized version of a supposely factual event.

For those who have seen it, do you think it holds up well over the years? It's apparently a matter of some debate as to whether the real Carla Moran in fact experienced what is claimed, although many believe it to be true.

Am I correct in believing that the entity in question would be called an "incubus"?

did'nt they call it that in the movie?i saw it at the theatre when it came out way back then.

i don't really know if it'd be classified as an incubus or not.
