With very little field experience, rookie F.B.I. Agent Rebecca Locke will become part of a sinister and unsavory world when she is recruited to join the Bureau's Los Angeles Violent Crimes Unit as a new profiler. A special division headed by Supervisory Special Agent Virgil "Web" Webster that is devoted to investigating the darkest and most heinous crimes committed by human beings.
Unbeknownst to Rebecca, her traumatic past that she has struggled to bury and keep hidden from others is the sole reason why Web has recruited her. That what had tormented Rebecca so long ago will give her a unique insight and place her in a specific mindset to help her tackle these cases. This is also the case with her new colleagues as Web knows each of their past histories and secrets. It remains unclear the lengths that he is willing to go with his agents in order to successfully solve a crime.
SourceI've seen all the previews and it looks WICKED! "The Inside" will be airing tonight on FOX!

Sounds like a cheap rip-off, but worth a look none the less.

I heard of this show, looking forward to it.
How is this like the x-files looks like an original to me, X-files was more about the strange and the paranormal, this show is about sick psychos, I would say this is like the Hannibal Lecter trilogy (red dragon, silence of the lambs, Hannibal) into a series.

Just finished watching "The Inside". One hell of a show, couple little bits of blah, but still worth a watch. I'll give the first show a 8/10 because of the blah parts. Weber was suppose to be the "leader" but really wasn't in the chatter.

Well hopefully it does well over in the states so that it makes it to free-to-air tv down here, so we can judge it, although I do have cable so I`ll probably get to see it eventually anwyay.
It does sound interesting, but its not the next X-files.

I only saw the last half hour so I was a little confused. What I saw was really nothing new or exciting but the ending was really good so I think it has potential.

Yeah... the first half-hour better explained the situation. The last 20 mins was getting the elbow grease in.

I just finished watching the show.
WOW! That writer has some good skills to bounce on! They storyline was dark but completely awesome. The music for all the scenes was perfect for the setting. The acting was great. This show is now on the offical "watch list"!

"The dark side of humanity is another's life." - me
I have a strong interest in serial killers and the crimes in which they do because of the conditioning in which makes them a killer. Don't twist my words, I see them as sicko's. It is just that they can mold such hate, pain and suffering into such horrific acts. How does any human really jump up to that level?

I'm the same. I mean, they definitely are sickos, but it's just so interesting. Anywho...I watched the whole episode this time, and was pretty impressed. The actings good, and the little twists at the end are really cool. It's better than I thought it would be. It's now also on my "official watch list"

^ Yep! One thing I forgot to add in my other post is... they could do more without the second to last scene... *shudders at the very thought* The story line would still have been great without that.

Another well written one... minus the gore but the sickness was still there.
Personally, Roger would have been toast in my book, the perfect excuse with the perfect killer... I like the idea of a "prefiler" with sickos like Roger.
"It all started out with a girl on the pier..." *bang!*
Indeed, that is poetic justice.
A prefiler isn't really something new though... you can always "prefile" someone's actions. How many kids do it to their parents in the words they use when they want to go up north or stay out an extra hour or two on a weeknight? I do it all the time with teachers to see how far they will go and what they expect. BUT, you don't see me going around killing "future serial killers".

However, it is on my list of job choices for the future.
