whenever i try to install certain programs, such as drivers for my camera, drivers for my phone, and some games, the installation status will show it installed all the way(the part where it shows what files it's copying), but at the end it'll say "setup was interrupted before installation was complete." anyone know how to deal with this problem?

Try uninstalling the software that is "there", restart your computer then try to install it again. Also, when installing make sure NO other programs are running at the same time.

Just my two cents... hope it works out for you. original.gif

the drivers are compatable with xp, it's the drivers for my camera and a cable that links my cell phone to my computer.

__Kratos__ , thanks for the tip, but it doesn't even copy the files! it goes through that process to the end though hmm.gif

I was just going to say it's a virus. Use antivi6....the best one going...goto www.free-av.com

I know its free, for now anyway, but I have been using it since 1999 and it is the best antivirus you can get. thumbsup.gif
