It's been over five months since the 2005 chess tournament began, and in that time our participants have played over 140 games. My thanks to everyone who has taken part, and also congratulations to Talon who is our clear overall winner.

To bring the tournament to a close, i'm establishing a deadline of the 10th July, at which time the tournament will end and the top three players will be announced based on the scores at that time.

This deadline has been set to correspond with the closing date of the awards, at which the top three chess players will be announced.

And to all those who still have chess games to play, good luck.

Hi all,

I leave for Eqypt for two weeks as of tomorrow so that's it for me, I return on the 9th of July so unfortunately not really in enough time to complete the remainder of my games.

So, I'll just say I've thouroughly enjoyed playing against you all in a very well organised tournement, and hope to play again with you soon.
