Friday my friend took pictures of an object she saw spazzing around the sky. Ever since I started seeing stuff happen so often I got her into it, and she's seen the same things too. She got these images in Modesto, pretty cool if you ask me.

Looks pretty genuine to me. Both pictures show it at a slight angle , which to me looks like the craft is flying at a pretty fast rate. Looks like a blob of light since its all moving so fast.

I can personally see the classic triangle shape almost formed within that, and i think they are both good photos.

I decided id atleast get a closer look at it, here is some zoomed up views and a representation of what i think the shape of the craft itself is.

Venus or even the Moon? I notice there's a fair amount of camera shake, which could explain the irregular shape of the phase.

Blaze, which craft are you talking about, what is shown in the posted pictures is a light, how do you go from a light in the sky to a craft?

ECC, how fat between are the two pictures taken? Judging by the horizon the light doesnt seem to have moved that much. Do you know the location these pictures were taken, if you could get the coordinates on the sky of the light it would be possible to see if there was any satellite passing over at the time of the observation.

Ok So your telling me a satellite travels 20,000 feet above? If you look at the picture you can tell its not a satellite , because its obvious the light would be a small spec in comparison to what were seeing here. Satellites from earth far as i know have a red glow to it, and is just one ball of light. Also take note that Satellites dont travel in our atmosphere. This object itself looks like it is less then 10,000 feet above, so i rule out what is the most obvious and we are left with Ufo.

I know you dont like calling a Ufo an alien, or government craft from what i have read, but just tell me what it is you think a Ufo is in your definition. Obviously its not a bird, a flare, an airplane, or helicopter, not a satellite either so im left with thinking its a Ufo, or its a fake which i doubt Ecc would pull.

It doesn't seem as if its moved very much, but you can see clearly in the pictures one of them has the road in view and the other doesn't.

Well far as i know they dont travel this close to earth ,and if they did it would have fallen to the ground lol.

The blur in the photo suggests that either the camera was shaking when the photo was taken or that it was a long exposure. If it was a long exposure, then that would explain the brightness of the object (which I still think is either the Moon or Venus).

Well what about the second photo? Why is the object within the same shape even in the photo that was taken without any blur, or movement as you can clearly make out the mountains , a road, and a cars tail lights.

I still have doubts for people taking pictures of planets and calling them ufos lol. This object was obviously travelling as you can clearly see the lights are swaying to the side.

Could be a planet though if this person is that dumb to take pictures of one and think its moving lol.

The Moon was there, as was a bright Venus and Mercury (which I believe can be seen in the first photo).

btw, here's a photo I took while on holiday in Egypt last year. It was a bog-standard digital camera with no special settings, you just point and click! Look how bright Venus is.

I've seen Venus guys, no thats not it.
Also don't think my friend is a liar tongue.gif.
I will ask her what the time was taken between photos, direction of the photos, etc. and get back to it on here.

I could see how it raises skeptics with the blur photo, but then there's the one with no blur. Venus also looks like a bright star- not a blob.

Edit: Remember, she said this thing was moving across the sky.

Also we have some evidence it was moving at a high speed, and we see somewhat of the classic triangle. Satellites do not travel this low, and I really don't think the moon was over there Friday, then I could be wrong.. I think i'd be a bit bigger than that and harder to make look like it was a different kind of object.

I'm not saying your friend is a liar. She could be mistaken.

Venus can easily look like a shimmering UFO-type object, depending on the atmospheric conditions. It can also appear to move in the sky if you are also moving. Did she take the photo from her home, or did she notice it while driving in a car?

The Moon would look very small in a photograph unless you used a zoom lens.

I hope it is a genuine UFO photograph, but I still think it's something more natural, unfortunately.

A good test would be for her to look out at the same time the next night and if it's there again, then it's definitely not a UFO...lol original.gif

Hmmm.. very interesting indeed.
