O.K., here it goes:

Ten to fifteen years ago, my wife and her family lived in a late 1800's victorian style home in a small town of 800. The house was constructed by a wealthy banker and the town was thriving at that time, since then, it has steadily decreased and the house has had a good number of owners. One day around noon, she took a nap in her room while her mother was sleeping in a different room. My wife woke up and noticed that the clock hands were spinning very fast. She found that her physical movements slowed way down, as if she was in slow motion. It took her HOURS to get up and make her way to where her mother was. It was very laborious for her to make any movement. She was a three sport athlete(who would later become a track letter winner in college) and it was very taxing of her strength. Her mother also experienced the same thing and met my wife in the hallway. By the time things were back to "normal" it was obvious that is was no longer noon, it was late evening. They shrugged their shoulders and just wrote off the experience as being something that is unexplainable.

So what do you guys think? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated, especially any weblinks that you may find.

This is very odd, far as I know there are two particular ways to warp time. The first thing that warps time is gravity, high densities of gravity in a small point such as a black hole warps time extremely compared to times here on earth. Resulting in time slowing down ie, if you were to spend a few days just above the event horizon of a blackhole, here on earth a year or longer would have passed. The second way to warp time is speed. Even here on earth we warp time by being in motion, but the time warp is so minuscule it goes unnoticed. Approaching the speeds of light, time warps severely, at the speed of light, there is no passage of time.

Maybe, don't quote me on this one. That the energy fields and gravity fields caused this to happen for some odd reason in that particular place. It's hard to say, because although I base most of my thoughts on scientific proof I am also aware that things we cannot explain happen and have experienced 'weird' events.

They abducted by aliens and returned.
