Hi gang! The Ohio Players song "Love rollercoaster" supposedly contains an actual scream of someone being murdered. I know someone out there has some info on this, so please don't be shy!
final flight
I saw that onone of those urban legend shows. She was supposedly a model who was disfigured when she was covered in honey and it bonded to the fiberglass. Then she came to complain during a recording session and one of the guys killed her. So the band left it in there as a sick memorial. But I could be wrong thats just what I heard.

That’s creepy as hell…I love that song too sad.gif

Wasn't the song by Red Hot Chili Peppers? Or did they just do a remake?

Either way, the band came out and said the scream was intentionally put in, to portray the theme of the song - a rollercoaster. Because people scream on a rollercoaster.
Xoisk el Soņador
Yea I highly doubt they had audio footage of someone getting killed…I hope at least…
Conspiracy
dont you think they'd be in jail if they did kill her? disgust.gif

A friend and I have read up on it before and what you say, if memory serves, is indeed correct.
TheOriginalF
As I recall, it was just a badly placed effect to enhance the song and it has simply taken on a life of its own. No big thing.

I just searched and found this website http://www.snopes.com/music/hidden/roller.htm

Scroll down to the bottom and click the audio play button and if you listen carefully you can hear a very feminine scream quietly. You'll need to repeat it a few times.

And yes it is the same as the Red Hot Chillis version. Hope this helped wink2.gif

I'm just downloading it now, I'll check it out and try and post it on here if its genuine original.gif
V for Vanity
mellow.gif You do know it's not true, about the woman being murdered and that's how they got the scream?
V for Vanity
It's false......that's just a rumor, my friends told me it one time I actually believed them but my Father said "Wow...you're pathetic" And I was because I believed everything people said...

I read on the website that's just a false thing. Someone heard a scream and they thought itwas real. And now people are listening to the song catching the scream and posting it on forums. An internet urban legend. I never said I believed it
V for Vanity
I never said you believe, some people would be wondering about it though.
