Brings to mind the picture of the 4 year old girl running down a hill away from her burning village , horribly burned , so basdly that all her clothes had burned of.

That wasn't actually an atrocity by the USAF as matter of fact, it was a South Vietnamese plane that bombed a South Vietnamese village by mistake ... that's why there was a photographer on hand, which there wouldn't have been if it had been in the hands of the Vietcong.
Going off topic there, sorry ... I love the smell of kerosene, reminds me of airports.

i forgot to put play dough. a lot of ppl hate that smell but it reminds me of childhood. like that one time i made myself a green playdough necklace at school and went home to show mommy and she got mad because it got all stuck in my hair and we had a lot of trouble getting it out.

ooer.. there are so many fantastic smells (and so many not so fantastic smells)
here goes
the smell in the air just before it rains
the smell after it rains in summer
both my neice and nephew just after their baths
strangely enough my cats when they get wet (not fav tho, but i reckon they smell like chicken noodle soup.. weird)
smell of garlic or ginger cooking
roasts
biscuits baking
the old body shop vanilla perfie, not the new one (that is cack)
the smell of new plastic.. (like new shower curtains...)
my man.. (leaves a faint aroma of jean paul gaultier in the air.... heaven)
when the wind blows and you can smell either the fangipani, hineysuckle or star jasmine in the air... its beautiful.. definitely know that summer is about
thats all for now

Here's a few I just thought of while reading everyone's list of things. The cd booklet that comes with a new cd. Right when you open it has that fresh paper smell.
The smell of french frys or a taco from Del Taco, Popcorn also smells real good, but don't taste to good. Smell of a BBQ fire is good too.

Oh and that good smell of roasted marshmellows.
I once had scented crayons. or was it markers. It all smells so wonderful.
I will start a new thread on the worst smells.
