I just wondering what everyone thought extraterrestial life would be like if we are ever to discover it.

This is a good question, so often people assume that by 'life' we must mean life as we know it (Jim), i.e. advanced civilizations with cities and missiles and Jerry Springer. But life can mean single celled organisms just as much as it can these fellas alien.gif , so wherever we find life it must start with the basic building blocks. So if there;s life anywhere, it'd surely have to start with microbes and things like that.

that's it...maybe all of them...

id say a marine ecosystem, cuz Europa already could be housing life under that ice sheet, and bacteria could be living on Mars and Titan

We could find a primitive alien that is at the same stage that we used to be when we were cavmen.

An exact reverse of the situation that some say happened to us then?

I wonder why they keep on creating television shows on extraterrestrial life? It’s like mainstream is slowly getting involved with the paranormal a little bit.

Isn't that a good thing they get involved? Its interesting stuff regardless if whether something is true or fake. But then somes shows or documentaries dont explain or go into details well. I heard some shows cover-up some of the information on certain topics in the paranormal world because it would be to hard to believe the truth behind things.

I would say that if there really were extraterrestrials, they might resemble something our underwater bugs: lobsters, crayfish, crabs, horseshoe crabs, etc... because in an environment with little or no gravity I would expect that this would make the most sense. If we were panspermiated here on earth (which you can't rule out as a possibility for the beginning of life on earth) then we would have similar bug-like ancestors in space... and we might have evolved similarly... I don't know which one of those answers above best fits this idea tho. hmmm

Heres another link:
This one has a trailer about an Unmanned Mission landing on the Surface of Europa. Might wanna check it out. The Probe will drill into the ice sheets of Europa and will explore the vast and dark oceans under the mile of ice.
