I once tried shading too, but the result was so bad that made me hate shading..

Now I am still working on this one, and I am just getting started so be gentle... It isn't much at this point, but I think with a little shading and a bit of cleanup here and there it should be a respectable first try at artwork. For a novice. Please don't laugh.

I discovered a very long time ago that I have no hand for drawing, either paint, pencil, fingers, crayons, very long poles or whatever....

Until I discovered Mouses... (Meeeces?? Mices??) Anyway... After getting the hang of CorelDraw 7 Suite, I managed this little lot.

The 1st success was this, I use it as my logo for PC repairs and anything else to do with my work, the 2nd is for my business cards and me, general



I designed this for a very good friend of mine who wanted a celtic bat as a tattoo on her lower back


I love the geometry of celtic work, it's impossible not to trace it round the paths while looking at it and intricate enough to keep me occupied for hours:lol:

Now I'm playing with PhotoPaint, I came up with these 2...




It was only after I finished playing with the 2nd one when I saw the all the faces in the picture... Mrs WereBo calls 'em the Forest Spirits...

PS Alopogies for the different sizings etc., they were posted in rather a hurry and I couldn't find out how to attach 'em as thumbnails... (those 'Click to enlarge' boxes on people's posts)
