I didn't like it either...
I thought it was pretty good....for a Uwe Boll movie. It wasnt horrible. Pretty good action scenes, although there is no ending one. But what there is is really cool. Its nothing special, but id say its a decent movie, nothing more than a rental though.
Uwe bloody Boll needs to stop making movies... I have not seen one of his movies, I don't have any desire what so ever to watch one and nor will I ever do.
I think his goal in life is to get the rights to every computer game and turn them into crappy stuff-ups of movies...
Next in his line up is Bloodrayne, he's gonna do Farcry and Hunter: The Reckoning... He even wanted to do Hitman but thankfully someone else has got the rights to that.
The really pathetic thing is though, that he actually thinks he is making good movies... He thinks he is making blockbusters. You read his interviews and he says things like 'This will be like Matrix but better' and 'Christian Slater is like Keanu Reeves only not so bad'... he even had the cheek to say that the awesomeness that is Christian Bale was not good enough for Alone in the Dark!
Like Christian Blae would want anything to do with him anyway...

O.K., other than the shootout in the dark hanger, it really wasn't worth it. 
THe cliche scene of being chased by a spirit was hardly original. Too schmaltzy.

I saw it, and I -hated- it. It's terrible. 
I'm watching it right now, and it pretty much sucks. Glad i have a movie pass for the video store and didnt pay 5 buckls for this crap.
It doesn't have thrills. I like thrills. I have seen its trailer clip. It's an "Okay" preview, but the Army of Darkness is better than that movie, though. (lol)

Hmm, you should rent Alone in the Dark. A different movie about maniacs escaping from a loony bin and laying siege to a doctor's house.
