Don't know if this has been posted before, but after checking one of my fave webcomics (Somethingpositive.net) and seeing the theme of today's comic, I did a quick google search and came up with this:
Robert, The Haunted, Evil, Demonic-y DollInteresting...

Creepy i hate dolls as it is. I had a friend in highschool who had this big Ronald McDonald doll that she carried everywhere and claimed she was trying to bring it to life. One day i was getting into her car and she had it strapped in the backseat and it turned its head and looked at me, freaked me out i made her put it in the trunk before i would get into the car. Also recently on an investigation i was on at a very active house when we were blessing the place and stuff. We walked past the owners ceramic doll collection in a glass case at the top of the stairway and as we were blessing the hallway two of the dolls just fell over in the case. No one bumped or touched the doll case i feel i have to add.

I expected this story to be silly, it was, but that doll is pure unadulterated CREEPY!

Heh...I accidentally freaked my girlfriend out with this story (she has a collection of twelve porcelain dolls in her room, five of which have their eyes pointed towards her), and I remember when I was little, I had an absurd fear of my big bird doll...I didn't mind seeing him on the show, but that doll freaked me right the heck out when I was three...

My sister had one of those big trolls, the ones with fuzzy hair that were different colours. That used to really creep me out, so every time I saw it I threw it across the other side of the room.

I found this photo of Robert in Auctions, Trades, & Exchanges under the post "I got my *cursed* Tiki Dolls!" Greychupa posted it.
It is the same photo as provided in the original link but much bigger.

Dude, give me a baseball bat and I'll take care of the rest of that doll (Homerun Derby). I don't know, I would want to do an experiment about that doll. Not alone though but with my friends. We'll get wasted with the doll and see if it likes to drink and what not but we'll keep that thing chained up to a 45lb plate just in case. Man that would be freaky as hell but at the same time fun. Plus I would record it all just in case we miss anything we'll have it captured (his facial expressions). Interesting story though.

"A museum employee once cleaned Robert and left for the evening, locking the doors behind him and shutting off the lights. When he arrived the next day, several lights, including the one near Robert's case, were on. Also, Robert was placed differently than when the employee last saw him. Stranger still, the bottoms of Robert's shoes were coated in fresh dust as though he'd been walking around the museum. More than once, employees have reported hearing a sound like someone tapping on glass as they pass Robert's case. When they turn to look, they have seen Robert's hand pressed against the glass."
Thats really creepy. Regardless of if it's true or not, just look at the thing. I would not want to have to see that every day. *shudders*

They had a special on Travel Channel that included the doll on it, it really was eerie that the doll seemed to follow the cameraman while they filmed it. (Of course, it could have just been the camera angle making it appear that way)

There was a segment about this on a ghost show. When gene and his wife lived there, kids would come over and ask if their little boy could come out to play. They would reply, "what kid?" and the child would say, "the one walking around upstairs."
Freaky...

That's one freaky doll. Just looking at the dolls makes it look creepy but still I would love to go to Florida and see him. Obviously that voodoo ladyput some evil spell on it.
The story where he was holding a knife seemed funny, I've done that with my chuckie doll (looks just like the one on the film) he totally freaks my mum out at times. She has to hide it away, he has that evil grin on his face. I'll try and put a photo up! Unless he's been chucked in the loft
If that doll is evil why don't they just burn it, but first have a drink and do some drugs with him. A stoned doll sounds funny.

My friend used to have a friend who had one of the good guy dolls (the one from child's play) and she said she was over at her house and she saw it blink. I somehow doubt that, but it's scary anyway...

My son has a huge black stuffed tiger/cat/whatever. It's as big as our dogs. He always sleeps with it and says it protects him from the monsters? He insists this thing can fight and whatnot. When his friend came over to spend the night, my son told him about the toy, and his friend kept telling him it's not real. My son kept insisting he was and got so upset he started crying. Poor baby. Hey, at least if I have to have a "live" stuffed animal in the house, it's a good one.

Hmmm, who knows?

Jesus-Christ!
I REALLY wonder how that works...when spirits posess "things" that are not alive (??)...
I really hate dolls too. And small children. And clowns.
Why not put a webcam on the place they stora this Robert? So that we might get a glimpse of his movements.

I just read somewhere that Robert is up for adoption and looking for a good home! Kinda have my doubts about that though, that doll must be worth a bloody fortune.

I don't like the looks of the Robert doll and those Tiki dolls I would never have in my home.
I collect stuffed animals, but when I was younger I had a drowsy doll that always slept with me. I always had to have her arm on my shoulder. I couldn't hold her. I became so attached to the doll that my mother thought the doll's grin was even bigger. I have heard that objects have been known to take on an essence of it's owner, but not to that level. Is Robert the inspiration for Chucky?

Oh, Dog Demon and I have a book about Key West ghosts, and Robert's in there. Creepy stuff...

Dolls have always scared the schist outta me. I have this scooby plushie(who's on top of my computer right now) that I swear has moved a few times. But hell with it, he's my favorite plushie. I've never had any dolls, and never want any. I prefer my beanie baby chimeras. (I slept with the tratitional one last night. I oughtta make him pajamas with a hole in the back for the goat head.

I had a look on em#bay and couldent find him. I hope he's not for sale. I think he should stay where he is. AS he's very old someone less experienced might damage him. it's safer for him to stay where he is.
