Hi,
I wanted to know how to access to the Most haunted's web cams ? Do we have to sucribe at LivingTV ? I sent them an e-mail 1 week ago, they haven't answered and it begin tonigth near 8.30 pm. I dunno if I will bear to watch a webcam

, but I wanted to try

.

AFAIK, the MHL webcams are accessible to all. Not that there's ever anything on them even remotely paranormal, despite the insane texts and emails from the gullible punters out there..lol

The most frightening thing about "Most Haunted" is the fact that people watch it at all. Its ruined the credibility of the Paranormal, and is an insult to anyone genuinely interested in the subject.

Faeden I disagree, I know things that are a lot more crap than it: tv reality by example. Here they don't want to proove anything, they investigate and let us making our own opinion. But everyone has his own tastes

I agree that MH is a load of 'paranormal bollocks' (as Richard Woolfe, controller of LivingTV put it...lol), but I still watch it - just in case... heh heh

The sooner they ditch Acorah the better.

People should watch it if they want, I am all for freedom on what to watch ect, its not good to dictate what people should or shouldn’t watch, but they fake things, exaggerate things, and claim to be an authority on paranormal research, which is a joke. I am all for fun, and having a laugh, and do not take life too seriously, but they are making a mockery of the paranormal and the people who seriously are interested in it. The attitude of most of the "crew" on there is so cocky and arrogant, and they act as if they are some kind of paranormal messiahs, it just annoys me to see, so I do not watch it anymore, but if people want to then that is up to them but in my opinion they are being seriously misguided into the reality of what is really going on.

I agree reality TV is crap, but reality TV is not claiming to be an expert on the paranormal is it? Most Haunted has created a huge group of fanatical, gullible, googoly eyes cult of people, who do not even bother to study the paranormal, only learn from what they see on Most Haunted, and then they go around claming to represent the paranormal community, and its embarrassing to the people that take the paranormal seriously. If you want to watch it, do so, but its silly entertainment and nothing else, but many people that watch it think its all serious, and that the people on it are the bees knees when it comes to the paranormal and should be believed with out question. Anyone that knows a little about paranormal investigations will know that paranormal phenomena happens no way near as much as Most Haunted tries to make it appear, and that it happens even less so when there are cameras around, let alone live TV.

I have to say, the stuff on that show is obviously fake to anyone who's actully witnessed anything that's truly paranormal.

I can see where you're coming from with this. In my opinion the Most Haunted cast and crew are less than scientific when it comes to their investigations . Lets face it though, it's a T.V programme made to entertain viewers. I don't believe it would be possible to conduct a real scientific investigation with the amount of people and equipment required on site when making it and a lot of it is probably blown out of all proportion purely for entertainment purposes. Having watched the live show on 19th June it became apparent from the viewers text messages displayed on screen that a great deal of these people belong to the lunatic fringe. Just one example and there were many people who said the exact same thing:

"Whilst watching Most Haunted Live my dog began to bark".

First of all don't these people think that the dog may just be barking at something outside, a cat perhaps or a cat burglar??? And why would paranormal activity be taking place in their living room just because they are watching some show that is being filmed hundreds of miles away?
As long as there are people out there who will jump to paranormal explanations for the slightest thing before ruling out the rational explanations we will be plagued with shows like this on T.V.
As far as I am concerned Most Haunted is made for entertainment purposes only and that's fine if that's what people want to watch but personally I'd rather see something more controlled and regulated.

I've always thought these reality ghost programs are fake. Some of the texts could even be fake you never know.

Last night people were going on about something falling the ladies head. All they needed to do was get a crew member on a ledge and get them to drop a pillow on her head or something. And at the end people were saying stuff like:- "I saw an orb fly across the screen" and then you get others saying its a moth which I think it was. But obviously these people hadn't heard of flying insects. It was in an old dusty room what do you expect, or it could have been filmed in a studio.

And all this stuff about dogs barking etc is a load of rubbish. Maybe they heard somehing we couldn't cos they're hearing is much better. And hi-fis turning on by themselves and doors slamming.

Yes it is, but that is my point, try telling the people who do most haunted and the die hard fans that. I would not have a problem with the show if they portrayed them selves as faking things, and that they know nothing about the paranormal, and that they where not serious, but they think they are "paranormal experts" they even say it on the show over and over again "and now over to our paranormal experts" it is entertainment only I agree, but my problem is most people that watch it do not think that, and people think that if your interested in the paranormal your like these embarrassing Derek Acorah and most haunted dilutional fans.

I know what you mean on the text ins, people send in, I remember some things that where just out right embarrassing, people saying 'my dog acted odd when most haunted came on' or 'my TV flicked when Derek came one' What is most frightening is the amount of gullible and dilutional people out there that believe anything, and even convince them selves that paranormal events are happening all around them, when its just down to blind faith and wishful thinking.

Yeah, that's a sad shame really when there are people out there with a genuine interest in the subject and who only want truthful answers. Everyone gets tarred with the same brush to some extent. I was gonna send a text into the show saying I've just seen a nun speeding past camera 4 on roller skates. It wouldn't have sounded half as bad as some that were sent in by the die hard most haunted fans.

This is very true. I agree Faeden. I went to that site and it sucks. They have the lamest pictures and footage i've seen yet.

This is something I considered myself. From what I've read about paranormal investigations I got the idea that the investigators go from location to location spending hundreds and thousands of hours tediously monitoring equipment etc often without any significant events occurring at all yet every "investigation" Most Haunted is involved with is plagued by "paranormal activity". It's all too convenient if you ask me. Either they are just extremely lucky or a hell of a lot of it is faked and I just don't believe anyone is that lucky.
