Yes. It happened to me as well.
But the mind is a powerfull organic device, it can play tricks on you.
If you feel beeing watched but have been reading ghost stuff (stories, boards etc.) chances are it's in your head, especially at night and or in a basement when alone.
The only times (or almost) it can be real is when you feel like this but weren't thinking about it or anything of the matter (ghosts, spirits, paranormal etc.).

I did at the old building that my work used last year. (I believe it used to be a store that sold Wicca stuff... not sure though), every time I when into the basement to get some water I kept thinking I would see someone when I turn around.

I get that feeling more now that my father passed. It happens after I have gone to bed. It last about 5 minutes and then it is gone.

I have my moments from time to time of being watched. I'm wierd though because if I feel like I'm being watched big time I end up talking all loud and crazy. I'll "try" to sing or say some lines from a movie outloud or just talk to myself. My favorite thing to do is to carry around a football or bounce a basketball and just let my imagination distract me for a bit or go jogging/exercising or something just to clear my head. If its somewhere where I don't have those options I just smile and try to study for DAT test/MCAT test or try to find ESPN. This is what best works for me though. I just try to "maucho" up and act tough or "man up". Doesn't work for everyone though.....

Could it possibly be that with your father gone, you feel more vulnerable? And if he lived with you, and is no longer there, especially so?

I do all the time, but that's because spirits are all around us. I live in a haunted house, and the spirit of my aunt Vicky has watched me since I was 4. She looks surprisingly corporeal, but when you try to get a better look, she's gone. She was looking into my room this year, when it was still winter, and I asked everyone in the house if they were upstairs in my room, but they weren't. I fixate on eyes to tell who a person is, and I didn't know those eyes... they looked like all the blue had been cryed out of them, but a little still lingered.

Nah sometimes I get spooked and feel like there's something else there

but nah don't feel like I'm being watched. So I voted No.

Happens from time to time.
The worst place is here in my house when it's dark at night. Usually when it happens I'm not even on the boards or thinking about ghosts. In my room it can also strike me.
Haha, some of you will talk to themselves and stuff but as for me I prefer to confrontate the thing. I'll stare in the direction I feel beeing watched and keep an icy look. Then, if it's too strong I'll say out loud to get outta here (although in a respectfull manner) and that it dosen't scare me.
This way I can grow stronger on this side and get less spookable. Love the adrenaline too sometimes.
