Full Version: Why do you need the negatives of a photo?

This has been bugging me for some time. In most paranormal stories I read that have a pic, the person says the had the negatives examined. Why would you need the negatives examined?

Well, having the negatives shows that it was also on the original shot. It proves a lot more than a digital photo, because digital photos can be sent directly to photoshop to be edited and people can do cut and paste. With a negative, it would have to be with something like a 35mm camera. Though, it can be caused by double exposure. But to have negatives, you are willing to show proof, it can be examined to see if it is a Double exposure.
