You mean the Bluff Creek film? There have been a bzillion efforts to debunk it, but I think it's genuine. Maybe I'm naive, but I don't care...lol

i think its real, cuz..

#1- not even hollywood could make a exact suit
#2- no one saying they did have brought in the suit for proof
#3- while watching any video containing bigfoot such as the patterson one u can see muscles moving while it walks

I dont know what to say. I've heard about how the guy Patterson I think admitted it as a big hoax. But then I heard that it is like impossible do the type of bone structure the Bigfoot looked like what it had. So I still do not know what to believe? Anyone got more info about this.

ive watched shows, and if it was a hoax w/o the guy who taping knowing it, it was very stupid because the guy taping it had a gun and could have shot at it.

A lot of scientists clam the tape is fake due to the movements of the animal…but I think they’re just trying to hold excuses!!!

its a chance that some are fake but really, with all the sightings year round who really gots the time to go deep in a forest and leave tracks and scare people in a ape suit that cant even be made by hollywood.
until a ape suit is found and is proven to be from either of those videos ima believe that bigfoot is real, theres far crazier things on this planet that we believe such as god and no ones proven him yet except a book and some crazy guy that ended up getting put on a bunch of 2 by 4's (sorry to any catholics that find that offensive or something)

Patterson never admitted it was fake. It was probably a guy claiming he was in the costume, which no one has come forward with the "costume". And when did you see this news thing?

I remember hearing about it also. Last year I think. I'm not sure, but he might have claimed that he filmed it with a few friends...

In a way I could believe it, but it kind of sounds like he wanted to bring popularity to his family after he passed on...

I hate to say it, but Roger Patterson died in 1972, leaving the secret of bigfoot a secret . And, if Patterson did hoax it, the costume guy is obviously dead too

I watched a special not to long ago about this, and they showed why it would hard to fake, also a hollywood costume designer said he did not think he could make a anything close to what he seen in the Pattersons tapes,but who knows since Mr Patterson has already passed!

In regards to the people coming forward to say it was fake, none of them have ever provided any evidence to back up their claims.

This film has been poked and prodded so many times over the years. Check any Bigfoot forums out their.

On monday,wednesday and friday I think its real. Tuesday,thursday and saturday I think its a hoax. On sunday I take the day off.

If I would have to choose I think its real. All the hoax stories just has to many holes in them.

Bottom line to me though, is either way it doesn't matter, There is still a hell of alot of evidence out their.

I watched a show on the discovery channel that analyzed all types of videos of bigfoot footage in order to determine if it is real or not. One thing they said was that its movement was very different from the way humans walk. They said the way the shoulders rotated, and the whole body shifted made it very hard for a human to replicate. Especially since its demensions (proportions of the shoulds, arms, height, width, etc.) would make it even more harder if it were human.

Bigfoot is not real. That video is not real. First off if bigfoot was real how come we have not found any corpses or fossilis of these things. How come nobody has found any real hard conclusive evidence of this creature. About the patterson film: It looks real but if you look at the one frame where the creature has his back turned how come its feet are white. There are no physical markings and it isn't black like the rest of the creature. Also if the video was real why didn't they shoot it and get even more fame.

I am an avid Bigfoot fan. In fact, even though my sig and avatar are ghost-related, it was actually Bigfoot that drew me to this site.

The Patterson Video is a fake, but that does not necessarily mean that Bigfoot is not real.

The arms are too long, and the shoulders are too wide, but do we ever see the elbows or wrists move? No. The guy in the suit is swinging his elbows at the shoulders of the suit.

Too keep his knees from straightening when he walks, he probably has thick pads that forbid them from straightening any further.

There is no zipper because there are snaps or fur in front of it.

The fur is too glossy and not matted or dirty.

The breasts were a creative touch, but no female primates have hairy breasts.

I've never noticed the white feet, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Either Patterson or Gimlin admitted it was faked, and the other insists it was real. I'm inclined to take that as huge evidence that it's fake. We all can picture people saying a fake video is real, but who would say a real video was fake?


Of course, I am still willing to consider that the footage is real.

Maybe the elbows just coincidentally never moved.

Maybe it's not possible for humans to walk that fast and smoothly without fully straightening our knees. Maybe only a Sasquatch can do it.

Maybe the glossy fur is actually really oily or maybe the light just makes it look like it isn't matted. Maybe it still sticks out when it's matted and dirty.

Maybe the female Sasquatch does have hairy breasts. After all, there are no primates that aren't covered with thick hair or fur, except humans. So who knows, maybe there's a hairy extreme and a hairless extreme....

Maybe the feet are white because they are covered with the light colored dust from the creek bed.

Maybe whoever said it was fake had been pressured into saying it on camera or maybe he was just senile.


Basically, there's no proof one way or another.

Me? I really want to believe in Bigfoot, but I don't think the video is real. It can be faked, and that's more likely.

One of the questions in it addresses why no corpses have been found. You may as well ask, why haven't bear or deer corpses been found? The temperate forest environment pretty much decays everything.

That site is an awesome site. It had me convinced for a long time, and still does sometimes. Of course, it is biased in favor of Bigfoot, so who knows if it's all that trustworthy? Read the sightings section. Spooky stuff has been reported.

No one has ever proven these type fake i have been watching this story for many years and have seen just about all doc and info on it, they best zoologist in the world can not even call it a fake, they have admitted it walks just like a animal, and men can not carry the strad of what ever is in the pics,it is impossible!

but we have all seen deer and bear. we know they exist. every single photo of bigfoot except the patterson film is blurry. you cant see what the creature really is. maybe becaues they are all fake. From a scientific standpoint the existence of a bigfoot would be incredibly unlikely. and even the patterson film isnt really clear in a lot of ways. there are unknown creatures out there. there are things sceince has not found yet. but dont believe everything you see on tv or that you read. sometimes its just common sense. plus there are too many rumors about people faking it. how come there were no rumors about the Mega mouth shark. that was thought to be extinct for millions of years. but nobody made any hoaxes of those. the fact is untill a actaully body is found there is no proof of bigfoot. people want to believe in these things because it seems they want something bigger then themselves. I would love to think there was a unknown creature out there like that. for some reason i have some interest in it but i also like to think logically.

It's bunk. Anyone who has spent any time outdoors has seen corpses/skeletons of many animals. Why not bigfoot?

I've never come across any animal that has died of natural causes in the forest.

For argument sake lets say their are a 1000 Bigfoots currently alive in the US at this time. In the next year 8 will die sometime, within a 749 million acres area.

Now not even considering decomosition or the fact within a few weeks the forest would reclaim any body lying their.

The odds are slim that a body would be found don't you think ??

I'd like to believe these guys are real. But I think if they really were there would be better evidence of them by now. This isn't a medium sized bird living in Arkansas, now. It's a pretty big animal, and living around populated areas like logging camps and such, someone is bound to have gotten a good picture at least by now. I mean, bobcats and cougars are rare and hard to find, but there is credible evidence that these guys exist. Hell, I've even seen a bobcat a few yards from my driveway.

That is the best arguement against Bigfoot. The corpse arguement doesn't work, but that one does.

But I still hope to live in a remote forested area someday and see one.
